I wonder if there are enough people that have "buyer's remorse" about voting for 0bama that a website could be put together like the one they had when George Bush won his second term. You know, with people holding up signs in front of them like: "I'm sorry I killed you America - I'm a dumb@$$".

Or, perhaps we could photoshop some of the earlier pictures...

Just a thought.

THE OFFICIAL SONG OF THE 2009 ELECTION

I’m sorry, so sorry
That I was such a fool
I didn’t know
Change could be so cruel

I’m sorry, so sorry
Please accept my apology
But love is blind
And I was to blind to see
How Obama put a spell on me.

(apologies to Brenda Lee)

Hey - I didn’t vote for 0bama, but I’m sure there are some out there that wish they didn’t.

I was just thinking on the way to work, it would be kind of funny (and interesting) if those that did have buyers remorse would put together something.

If Sarah Palin is the best we can do, we are in deep sh*t. She’s a nice woman and a fine governor for Alaska, but she’ll never get elected president. She just doesn’t have enough going on intellectually. Is the Hockey Mom the best we can do? Seriously? How are we going to fight the democrats/socialists/communists when we have NO leadership and weak candidates?

If I voted for zero (please don't capitalize it! :0)) I would have had myself committed by now. I think I would have had myself committed if I even thought about voting for him.

My point is, there has got to be some people out there that got caught up in all of the bullstuffing going on, voted for him, and now seriously regret their vote.

He’s a nice guy and a fine Governor of California, but he’ll never get elected president. He just doesn’t have enough going on intellectually. Is this actor the best we can do?

Let's have a little Eric Hoffer on the subject, shall we?

"Whenever we proclaim the uniqueness of a religion, a truth, a leader, a nation, a race, a part or a holy cause, we are also proclaiming our own uniqueness".

"Vehemence is the expression of a blind effort to support and uphold something that can never stand on its own... Whether it our own meaningless self we are upholding, or some doctrine devoid of evidence, we can do it only in a frenzy of faith".

"We usually see only the things we are looking for — so much so that we sometimes see them where they are not".

"When our individual interests and prospects do not seem worth living for, we are in desperate need for something apart from us to live for. All forms of dedication, devotion, loyalty and self-surrender are in essence a desperate clinging to something which might give worth and meaning to our futile, spoiled lives"

"Failure in the management of practical affairs seems to be a qualification for success in the management of public affairs".

"The urge to escape our real self is also an urge to escape the rational and the obvious. The refusal to see ourselves as we are develops a distaste for facts and cold logic. There is no hope for the frustrated in the actual and the possible. Salvation can come to them only from the miraculous, which seeps through a crack in the iron wall of inexorable reality. They ask to be deceived. What Stresemann said of the Germans is true of the frustrated in general: "[They] pray not only for [their] daily bread, but also for [their] daily illusion.".... They are easily persuaded and led".

If you believe that, you need to hit the books. Sarah is dumb because a cabal of leftists horrified by her culturally decided to go all out to push the meme that she's not bright. Apparently you were dumb enough to swallow it.

I’m sorry but I have to strongly disagree with you. Governor Palin has done a lot for Alaska in an executive capacity. Alaska has the biggest budget surplus out of all 50 states in a time when deficits are the norm. Gov. Palin has showed an intense side of her that isn’t afraid to to stand up for what she believes in. The only thing that held her back was McCain. She tried to do her part to help but the McCain campaign seriously put the clamps on her. I would love to see what she could do running her own presidential campaign. I think she would tell the dems to go to hell, and she would get the country back on track.

Plus, the fact Sarah was hampered by having to carry McLame’s muddled message. That did her no favors at all.

You base her intellectual acumen on what exactly? I'm old enough to remember Reagan being called an idiot too. In case you hadn't noticed all republicans/conservative are idiots all democrat/commies are geniuses and all libertarians/strict constitutionalists are crazy. At least based on media accounts.

How are we going to fight democrats/socialists/communists when we have NO voters that realize that major media is merely the propaganda arm of the democrat party and should be treated that way.

Obama did not hide his true motivations and in fact it was quite clear that he is a Marxist. Anyone who voted for him was either willfully ignorant or knowingly voted as an enemy of our great Republic!

As a result, I am not at all angry at this administration. I am angry at America’s enemies from within that voted for a self avowed Marxist.

Let's put this bluntly:

We don't want a policy wonk for President!

In a president, we want, and need, a leader, someone who is not blinded by the daily blizzard of minutiae that is seemingly overcoming the present occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

What the times demand, and the people and society in general need, is a person with vision. Sarah Palin meets that criterion in spades!

A new president with vision, and the gumption to bring about it's manifestation, will bring the necessary people on board to insure that that vision will be brought to fruition.

You don't see the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs busy sweeping the roads of Iraq for IEDs, do you? Why would you expect that type of "hands-on" approach from a president that needs to turn the country around and re-instill the virtues that are necessary to make the Great Experiment work properly?

If you're going to blindly swallow what the left/MSM feeds you, fine. Just don't insult our intelligence here by claiming that you actually reside in this universe.

CA....

Um, I hate to point it out, but Reagan’s resume consisted of a governorship and 38 movies that were so bad he quipped that they ‘proved he was never an actor’.

What Aristotle called ‘the ruling virtues’ are not the same as intellectual virtues: the contrast between Reagan (lots of the former, not so much of the latter) and Carter (plenty of intellect, pretty much a zero on any conceivable measure of the ruling virtues) made this plain.

Obama is of the Carter type, and look where it’s getting us.

Remember Bill Buckley’s quip about preferring to be ruled by the first 400 names in the Boston phone directory rather than the faculty of Harvard? Probably doesn’t work anymore since Boston’s citizenry is looney-left, too, but I’d rather be ruled by a random 400 people chosen from the Manhattan, KS phonebook, than by the faculty of K-State, where I teach.

Yes, a hockey mom, or rather, no, a governor of a state which isn’t dominated by urban ‘elites’ or urban underclass voters. What do you want? Another lawyer? another MBA? Washington’s being run by them already. Okay, if Gen. Petraeus makes the right sort of noises about social and economic issues, I’ll pick him over Palin, and maybe you could convince me that Bobby Jindal or Marc Sanford would be better picks, but the fact she’s a woman and can tap directly into ‘buyer’s remorse’ over Obama still makes her a strong pick for the GOP.

Sarah is very capable, and she’ll get my vote, along with just about everyone I talk to.

Most of us realize what happened:
1. McCain handlers (lib plants?).
2. A media that was more than happy to harp on everything Sarah and prop up everything HUSSEIN.
3. ACORN and democrat fraud (it’s real, and we discount it at our own peril).
4. Etc.....

Not to mention the mistakes Mac himself made towards the end of the campaign which caused conservatives to sit it out (probably the usual gripers that you can never please).

Hopefully, the midterms will take care of some of it, if it’s not already too late to overcome the above - and I don’t believe we’re at that point quite yet.
