Good morning, FRiends.
I apologize for being so late in posting April.
Do you believe that I forgot that today starts a new month?
It's not a joke; I FORGOT!!!

In addition to entertaining the AWANA minister yesterday afternoon,
my friend since the 7th grade called with the sad news that her brother had passed away.

I changed direction on today's thread at 7:30 this morning.

I have had about 5 birthday phone calls. My brother sang Happy Birthday yesterday and again today...LOL! My SIL just left after a visit with me. She and I always exchange small gifts. Got a pretty Jacquie Lawson greeting from my niece in Mississippi! I am a day older than I was yesterday! Thats a good way to look at it, isn’t it?

This will be a big surprise to you.....Hubby and I were married on my birthday so I am a little sentimental today, missing him. One reason we married on that date...his ship was getting ready for a Mediterranean cruise and he was going to be gone for 6 months and we didn’t want to wait any longer.

I have always told friends that I married him on my birthday is so he could never say he forgot our Anniversary.LOL! It sorta backfired because I always felt like I didn’t get a private birthday, because we always celebrated our Anniversary....this is all in fun! I am thankful for every day God gives me.
