Internet Explorer openes a “new window” in the same size as the last time you closed a “windowed” (not maximized) browser session. So, when you click on a FR article, which opens IE in a new window, it openes it in the same size as the last non-maximized windowed session. Try expanding the window size by positioning the cursor at the edge of the window and dragging it to increase its size. Don’t maximize it. Then shut down ever instance of IE except the one you just increased in size. Then shut down the one that you increased in size. When you click on FR articles next time, the window should be the same size as the increased size.

I tried that. I stretched it wide, then closed it, then clicked on a link again and its still small.
