i remember being at a Halloween party in a friend’s garage in 1980, dancing with a really cute boy (Eugene Garcia) to this song...

I sincerely hope you are an "innie"

Kraftwerk played a concert in recent years, I don’t know about an album.

“Devo” has played too but without Mark Mothersbough.

Can Kraftwerk be far behind? Be still my heart!

I'm holding out for a world tour from Autobahn:

This thread needs more “cow bell whip”.

Devo – Whip It

I liked Devo but I much prefer They Might Be Giants in the nerdy rock genre.

Can an “Oingo Boingo” reunion be far behind?

I'm a Lebowski fan, too.

However, Kraftwerk wrote the song “Autobahn.”

nagelbett doesn't really exist...

I know that...was just being silly!

“Autobahn”, the nihilist band from the movie, is supposed to be a parody of Kraftwerk, I think.

Abide.

I suppose this means that the town of Devon, Pennsylvania is once again going to need a budget line item for continually repainting the letter “N” on road signs that include the town’s name.

Sort of like in the 80s when the powers that be in New Waverly, TX had to keep adding the "rly" back on the end of its signs.

I saw an interview with Mothersbaugh once where he said, “Devo was a one-joke band. But it was a really good joke.”
