Barbie’s next accessory: plastic piercings — navel, nose.

"Totally Stylin Tattoos Barbie"

Better name would be "Tramp Stamp Barbie", or "I'm Soooo Drunk Barbie"

"Parents in the US are furious over fashion doll Barbie's latest reinvention, which sees her covered in tattoos.

Mattel says the tattoo Barbie lets children express themselves and be creative".(quoted from here)

To me, Mattel looks like they're making a really bad move; they look very desperate. Sad, and Sad for the kids. Sad for Parents or Grandparents who would buy this.

Visible tattoos and piercings, you are basically advertising yourself as a member of the underclass.

I think there is money in Obama’s spending bill to remove tatoos from Barbie dolls.

Get used to it. Tattoos have been mainstream for at least 20 years now. If anything Mattel is slow in catching on.

I’ll never understand how judgmental some FReepers get about tattoos.

I think a lot of it is a religious adversion to tattoos (which is my basis for avoiding them, personally).

What other people do, is their business.

And why is having a Barbie doll with stick-on tattoos such a problem for some people when we’ve had real kids wearing stick-on tattoos for probably a couple decades now?

Ahhhhhh...........because it's NOT about "stick-on" funny kid tattoos. It's about degredation marketing. Make sense?
