I am glad he is into Texas history. It’s odd, but good.

Well, Phil Collins just climbed a peg or two in my estimation. I've always considered the seige to be one of the truly great stories of North America.

It's a shame only an ever diminishing minority of US citizens have a scintilla of knowledge regarding the story. Oh well, some of them probably rent cars.

Phil Collins is an Alamo fanatic. weird. Lets make him an honorable Texas citizen, um, if he is on our side.

I’m glad Collins is interested in the Alamo. It’s almost a holy experience visiting there. It’s like visiting the site of the Little Big Horn battle. Very historic well known places.

It does seem odd, but certainly better than him being into “Cuban Revolution” history.

Let’s at least give him credit for becomming interested in something that has some actual value (beyond just money.)

“Collins, who is British, said he has “hundreds” of cannonballs, documents and other artifacts from the Alamo, possibly the largest private collection anywhere, in the basement of his home in Switzerland.”

Well, I’m happy that Collins is interested, but those artifacts need to be in TEXAS!

At least he treats it with more respect than that other limey, Ozzy Osbourne.

I found a $5 copy of John Wayne’s “Alamo.” It’s a great movie. I can see why Collins admires the courage of Texans.

Maybe he can take it one step further by studying the history of landscaping.

Phil, don’t make the same mistake Ozzy Osburne did. Use the Rest Room. They’re in the basement by the bicycle rack.
