I'm Never Gonna Vote Republican AGAIN!!!! [Satire - Vanity]
13 Feb 2009 | TQC

Posted on 02/13/2009 12:21:59 PM PST by Titus Quinctius Cincinnatus

All the Republicans are just a bunch of RINOS and I’m never gonna vote for any of them against and I’m gonna vote third party instead and let the Democrats win every election and trash the country because I felt like throwing a little temper tantrum and hissy fit instead of getting behind Republican conservatives to....

((breath))

....take back the country for the conservatism that I say I believe in but show that I don’t because I’m an idiot who would rather navel gaze and pick my nose and gripe about the RINOs instead of doing something to get rid of them and replace them with solid conservatives because actually....

((breath))

....doing something but gripe and piss and moan would require me to get off my duff and invest some time and effort and maybe even money so I’m not gonna do it but will instead just destroy everyone else’s morale by being a lame-o loser who would rather whine about how the Republicans....

((breath))

....are all a bunch of RINOs and I’m never gonna vote for them instead of helping to retake the Party for conservatism and the country for conservatism and if you don’t like it that I’m going to vote Liberaltarian or Constitution or some other loser third party....

((breath))

....that doesn’t have a frog’s eye chance of winning then you’re just a sheeple who is also probably a liberal or a RINO too since you obviously don’t share my skewed whacked out idea of principles which allow me to sit around and do nothing but gripe and complain and let the Democrats win every election.

Pretty much how I feel about them, but I plan to work my ass off to get rid of Richard Lugar during the next set of primaries. Shame, too, since I was his economic adviser in his first bid for the Senate. Since then, he's lost it.

Well done--though I think it's more a parody than a satire--but you forgot "Jorge Bush" and "McAmnesty".

OK,

But isn’t this the kind of thinking that got us to where we are today?

What we should be doing is what the flaming communists did; take over the party from the inside. That means getting active, participating, writing letters to the editors, shaping public opinion, studying to be prepared to answer arguments with facts and logic.

Just taking your ball and going home to pout is not going to get any of us anywhere.

the problem with RINOs is that, by signing on to porkulus, they provide political cover to the ideas of the Democrats.

We would be better off with a small minority of conservative Republicans that lose every vote unanimously than by a larger minority that includes moderates.

Certain RINOs exist only to give the Rats bi-partisan cover (Specter and the two Maine hags, for example).

The only reason to tolerate them was for speakership issues. Now, no reason to have them around at all.

No, actually, 58 DEMOCRATS gave us this travesty of a spending bill.

Three RINOs just let a vote come up on it. (But it makes total sense to blame them for it...it's easier that way.)

Well, the point to the post (satire, parody, whatever) is that we would be even MORE better off if we had a majority (or even large minority) of Republicans who were ALL reliably conservative. But by taking their ball and going home and not helping to actually make this a reality, many so-called "conservatives" actually end helping to sell us down the river to the Democrats forever.

If these "conservatives" really cared about conservatism, then they'd help to nominate and elect conservative candidates within the ONLY party that can even remotely serve as a vehicle for effectively seeing conservatives get elected, which is the Republican Party. With this post, I'm trying to point out the irony of the "they're all a bunch of RINO" people - which is that by their own actions, they're helping to KEEP RINOs in the Party and in office.

The time to purge the RINOs is during the PRIMARIES....Once they are over, it’s hold your nose if you have to but never just hand it to the treasonous JACKASS party. Third parties are only out there to divide and conquer and give the win to the dirtbag DUmocrats.

The voter fraud is so great and the republicans (for decades could care less) it may make no difference whether you vote OR NOT.. no matter which party you vote for..

Vote pubbie or crat.. is probably makes no difference..
You may be getting upset over nothing..

Its beginning to look like The Clintons, Bush, and the O'bamas are on the SAME TEAM..
The march toward socialism seems to be inexorable..

The Myth of the power of the vote may be voter frauds greatest WEAPON..
I can faintly hear someone laughing..

Listen, If your a sheeple.. One hoof stomp for Bush, two hoof stomps for O'bama..
i.e. makes the sheep appear to be needed..

Down with posts that actually present a plan.

You vote conservative first. That generally means you vote republican.

If you have several republicans vying for a general election, vote for the conservative one. Get in touch with your local RNC folks and tell them to back the conservative one, if they are endorsing any particular one. Get others to as well, send a little money to them, just pass some flyers out in your neighborhood. Just do a little. If they win for the general, do a little more.

We have to help the conservative repub candidates make it to the general elections, that is why we get so many RINOS and it makes it seem we don’t have much to pick from. We do but if they don’t get to the general election we can’t vote for them.

I agree, in return. I say purge every last RINO from every last elected position that we can. We may lose a few seats, but if the Party starts showing some spine in the way it supports primary candidates and spends its money, we'll win seats more than enough seats in return from Blue-Dog Dems, with the help of Reagan Democrats, to make up the "loss". But we need every last conservative we can to get this done. Conservatives who decide they're going to ditch the entire Republican Party because of a few losers like Specter, McCain, and the Hag Twins from Maine don't do anybody but the Dems any good.

One of the most foolish comments....ever.

They are traitors (not just to Republicans, but to their nation) as far as I'm concerned, but if their seats were in Dem hands, there would not even been the debate we have had on porkulus.

Reid would have given Republicans and conservatives the finger and passed anything he wanted.

You appear to have ‘Battered Voter Syndrome.’ You’re an enabler, making excuses for your abuser (the GOP), and you even blame yourself for the abuse. You’re afraid to show any independence, and are terrified of leaving. When others try to intervene or point out your dysfunctional relationship, you invariably rise to the abuser’s defense. You’ve been beaten down to the point of having almost no self-esteem. When the abuser promises not to do it again, you believe them... over and over and over.

We need to put together a winning coalition which makes room for a successfull anti-BHO movement. We must include traditional conservatives, libertarians, religious conservatives, neo-conservatives. This is how elections are won. By putting together winning coalitions. Ronald Reagan did it before. The last time we pulled this off in a really spectacular way it was in the 1994 midterm elections. Back then we had the Contract for America and the American people responded. We can do it again with a positive message and agenda.

We would like to, but we need every conservative we can to get on board and help make that a reality.

Sorry, but people can't have it both ways. They can't throw their hands up and toss the Party in the trash, and then get mad when the GOP runs RINOs. By tossing the Party out on its ears, all you do is remove yourself from having any say, and when enough conservatives do this, they have handed things over the RINOs without a fight. Not surprisingly, then, RINOs nominate RINOs, and the conservatives that are left don't have the numbers to oppose it.

Personally, I think a lot of people in the Party keep their ear to the track here on FR, lurking and whatnot. They may not all agree with us, or even like us, but they want to see what the base is saying. If the base is saying "forget the GOP, I'm taking my ball and going home", then they know that they can more safely get away with running or running as RINOs. If all the various non-Republican conservatives out there - the sit-at-homes, the Constitution Party people, the conservative-leaning Libertarians, the Reagan Democrats who look at the GOP and think "why bother"? - if they all would get on board with the GOP, the GOP would be conservative, and we'd all be happy. It might take a few years, but we COULD and WOULD wrestle the reins of power away from the entrenched country-clubbers and beltway-boys.

Good post, but you are wasting your breath. Many "conservatives" have chosen irrelevance but with "principles".

The damage it has done to their nation doesn't matter.

Unfortunately, the harm has been done, and I no longer really give a damn what they do. Republicans will end up the way they were in the '60s and '70s, only this time, there will be no conservative Democrats to slow down the Marxists.

Yeah, unfortunately, I think you might be right. There are a lot of "conservatives" who'd rather give up and roll over to the Dems - but pretend that they're hanging onto "principles" while they're doing it - rather than roll up their sleeves and get in the fight.

That's why I say that the navel-gazers are lazy.

I've never understood how giving up like a wimp and doing your level best to make sure the Dems retain a permanent majority is "principled".
