I came into work today and could not believe the new Obama phenomenon. A girl has a bottle of "Obama Water" sitting on her desk. I am the only conservative in my office. I quietly walked over and told her when they make the toilet paper. let me know.

It’s funny, and good for some rib-nudging here on FR, but my mom always taught me not to be rude, especially in the workplace. You don’t crap where you eat... literally.

A better idea would have been to take that as a cue to bring/wear all your conservative coffee cups, posters, etc. into work. Polite, yet assertively free-speechy.

We all get along very well in this office, even with our political differences, so she laughed it off. There is only 8 of us and we all pull together. All of us have what I consider to be conservative values except for out Director. He is a flaming liberal. Our office voted 7 for Obama, 1 for McCain.
