No immediate word on the county's TVs, phones, computers or radios.

I can imagine those signs adorning many College dorm rooms in Eureka.
"Dude...look....we're in a tsunami zone....hehehehe. Pass the bong."

(Thank you Governor Palin. It's not your fault. You got shackled to the worst Pub since Ford.)

Obama will simply ban tsunamis. Problem solved.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't tsunamis come from across a vast expanse of ocean as a result of an earthquake there? So, if you're in Humboldt county playing on the beach how would you know of an earthquake in Japan or someplace over there?

The graphic looks like someone climbing a giant sturgeon.

Sturgeons are very dangerous to climb on.

They will probably be posted all around the White House on January 20.

I grew up on the Central Coast in California, I had never seen a tsunami warning sign until we vacationed on the Oregon Coast.
To: nickcarraway; raybbr
There is an over 600 mile long fault off N.CA, OR, WA, BC. When the big one hits (you won’t be able to stand up for 3 to 5 minutes), you have may be 15 to 20 minutes to get out of that tsunami zone.
