I see the polls, and by all the looks, Obama is winning BUT he is NOT over 50% in most polls and the MccCain vote is in the low 40s or even high 30s (Fox)
this is nonsense, and us conservatives KNOW it
Here is my though
The Hillary voters who HATE Barry and will never vote for him must be at least 30%
that is about 0.3 * 18 Million = 6 million folks
My theory is that they are ALL SAYING thy will vote for Barry, and then come election day will not only NOT vote for him but WILL vote for McCain, becuase Hillary and McCain are fairly similar in their middle of the roadness (ir voted for the war etc)
IN other words, the polls could EASILY show an Obama blowout the DAY BEFORE and he could STILL LOSE IN A LANDSLIDE
This is becuase of the above factor (lying PUMAs switcing sides)
and ALSO
the CONERVATIVE BASE WILL BE OUT IN DROVES- PROBABLY MORE THAN ANY OTHER ELECTION
as much as the SCUMBAG Kerry who stabbed our troops in the back made us get out to say NO to him, as much as YES for GWB,
THIS GUY (Obambi)
Is TRULY the ANTICHRIST , A MUSLIM PLANT, a FAR LEFT MARXIST AMERICA HATING SOCIALIST and therefore MUST be stopped
ALL OF US know this
The other factor driving the CONSERVATIVE BASE TURNOUT will be of course PALIN
PALIN PALIN
Thus, in conclusion, I think this will be a SHOCKER election, unless Barry falls apart and the mask is successfully taken off him before Nov 4th
either way, I see McCain winning 300+ min EV
what do you fellow freepers think ?
Two polls yesterday were interesting to me: One showed Zero +11 with Dem weight +13, another showed Zero +6 with Dem weight +11. Neither is very good news for Zero.
The key is the independent vote and the name on the ballot and here is what I mean:
McCain’s name will be on the ballot first and then Obama second. 60% of the time, undecideds, even though they know who they will vote for, will choose the first name of the two on the ballot. It’s purely a psychological thing.
That could be the deciding factor in the race. Not the conservative vote, not the PUMA’s, the undecideds and McCain’s place on the ballot.
I’ve been saying the first premise you posted (about the PUMAs) for weeks now.
And six million votes less for D’s and six million more for R’s is enough to swing the election, IMHO.
If he is the anti-christ, and I don’t doubt it, then he can’t be stopped. It must come to pass. “So it is written. So let it be done”, to quote Yul Brenner.
They are probably a much smaller number than we would like to think. BUT I think the remaining undecideds will break McCain in much higher numbers than people would expect and I think that will be a much bigger factor.
“McCains name will be on the ballot first and then Obama second. 60% of the time, undecideds, even though they know who they will vote for, will choose the first name of the two on the ballot. Its purely a psychological thing.”
If they are that stupid, no wonder they haven’t already made up their minds!
I hope you’re right. I tend to side with your line of thinking. I was saying McCain by ten before the financial meltdown. Now I’m hoping that the base is as eager to vote as I am, and that many hillary voters help us stop this guy.
My wife's ready to move to a capitalist country, like Poland.
PUMAs are not happy. If Hussein wins, the DNC will be in the control of Hussein and his radical racist friends. The Clintons will be a non-factor. Hillary will have no future and Bill will be a former president with no influence.
The Reagan (now Palin) democrats are seeing this cocky arrogant Hussein. They will not vote for him in considerable numbers. This will be especially true if our side puts up enough discrediting information on Husseins background to create doubt. It is beginning to happen.
IOW, there is a growing number of people who are “Anything But Hussein” as opposed to “Anything But McCain.”
He is the AntiChrist. But I disagree that he can’t be stopped.
This is interesting, Gator
here in CA we have the following order for PRES
(1) BOB BARR - WAYNE ROOT lib.
(2) John - Sarah (R)
(3) Cynthia Mckinney - Rosa Clemente (green)
(4) Alan Keyes - Wliey Drake (Amer. Indep)
(5) Ralph baby - Matt Gonzalez (peace and freedom)
(6) Obambi and Plugs (D)
You see how they put Barr in front of McCain
But I do like how Ralphy baby (I love that guy) is right in front of Bambi and plugs
LOL!
With Obama at 78% on Intrade, the market is correctly discounting a 78% chance that we’ll be a socialist country next year. When McCain wins, the market will go UP 2000 points in a few days.
Obama was losing like 20% of Democrats before but polling seems to show it the same as McCain in party switchovers at 13% or so.
I think the economy has made these Pumas more likely to vote Obama. The economy has made a bunch of people more likely to vote Obama.
Sadly there is no reason for this and McCain really needs a single, strong narrative to knock Obama down.
Oh come on. If Obama wins, the PUMA or Clinton type Dems will lose their party forever. It will be the Obama-ACORN-Jackson-Farrakan-CAIR Democrat Party.
A lot of these Democrats are smart enough to figure that out. I lurked on Huff Poo web site plus Politico in the primaries. The ObamaTons were absolutely vicious towards Hillary voters. I think Obamabi stole the caucuses and Hillary Dems got the ACORN treatment.
Love or hate the Clintons, their followers did not deserve this sort of treatment. We are all for fair elections.
I think Clinton Dems also need to be concerned when the new Obama Democrat Party will do to the party once they are in power. If you have a union, govt or some sort of Dem Party patronage job - you will probably be replaced.
Clinton Dems, PUMAs or whatever you call them have a safer play with McCain. WHEN Obama loses, the Clintons will unleash the dogs from hell in a battle to get the party back. It will be a hell of a battle but the Clintons will win. I do not like Bill but I would take 8 more years of him over 4 years of Obama.
Hey what I say to all Hillary supporters the Only way you see her get in the White House is the run in 2012 and the only way she gets there is if McCain gets in in 08. McCain is a one termer. Sarah Palin versus Hillary for the 2012 election that is the only solution.
How do you know that Mac’s name will be first? On every ballot in every state? Just askin.
We need to go to the polls and vote regardless, otherwise ACORN and the Diebold computer can take your vote based on party affiliation--and vote accordingly.
If you don't vote, they will vote for you.
I think we're making increasingly more and more ridiculous rationalizations as it becomes more and more obvious that Obama is going to win.
This may be inevitable when a party is on the verge of completely cracking up, like the Republicans are now.
The PUMAS combined with Reagan democrats will be THE factor in this election.
Every one of their votes is net +2 for us, one less for Obama and one more for us and they will be in the MILLIONS.
There is a gathering storm circling around Obama, by the time the election is here it will be a rolling tsunami of fear, doubt, risk, and uncertainty.
We all need to do our part to stir up the storm.
Here is something interesting and encouraging. I engage in subterfuge at youtube with the Kool-Aid crowd, Im sure the undecided are reading too.
I have asked many Kool-Aid drinkers on youtube to search Barack Obama and Raila Odinga and tell them to watch the 8 minute video and then write me back and tell me theyre still comfortable with Obama.
I havent heard back from ONE of them, not ONE!!
Take a few minutes each day on political ads on youtube and politely ask people the question I asked.
Have you considered the Bradley factor?
People will say they support Obama only because they do not want to be tarred with the word “racist”, but do not want to deal with a possible very divsive canidate in the White House.
Leni
I don’t know about all that drama you assigned to THE ONE...
But I do know this, he has used politics of division to try and shut down political opposition, much the way Chavez did in Venezuela. It is extremely dangerous and has the potential to cause a real revolution in this country. Civil war is obviously not where anyone wants to go in any administration so his “In your Face” politics and police state tactics will be his undoing.
Hopefully enough Conservatives will figure that out before 11/04.
check out this website: www.justsaynodeal.com for the PUMAs - they are much stronger than the media is crediting them for. They have been kicked to the curb by the Obama camp ALL year and the ONLY appreciation Hillary got was from, yep, Sarah Palin when she thanked both Hillary and Geraldine Ferraro for their forays for the women.
Well....they had Kerry ahead in the last election, and he looked unbeatable.
Will McCain be on the ballot first in most places? On my sample ballot, there are numerous candidates, from the Green Party, Natural Law party, Constitution Party, and a few others, along with Obama and McCain. Obama and Mc Cain are buried with a dozen other presidential candidates, and neither major party candidate is listed 1st or 2nd.
Interesting to think that some people will be prompted to vote by someone’s place on the ballot like that.
Well, we’ll see. If all this is true, PUMA’s are lying to the pollsters, as Obama continues to have a narrow but consistent lead in the polls, as well as in battleground states.
Don't fallen victim to the leftist msn attacks. How do you think communism got started in the first place?
Break the will of the people, and squash the rest.
Of course the Repubs are almost a lost cause. But this is not about them, nor the party. It's about McCain and even more about SARAH!!! who will have the strength, will and fortitude to reform Washington. And above all, the mandate and the backing of the majority of the people.
Show the Marxist left that they are the minority and that no amount of lies, bad dealings and money can sway the true America.
Most places he will be first. Obama on most ballots will be last or near the bottom. Fred Smith, a state Senator from NC running for governor in the primaries, was expected to beat Charlotte mayor Pat McCrory for the Republican nomination handily, Primary night, Pat won but almost 9%, because of the name placement on the ballot.
True. The market is terrified that Obambi will win. Huge rally when McCain wins then we go after the GOP to clean things up.
We can fix the economy by DRILL DRILL DRILL. We have 4 times the Saudis reserves and OUR shale oil, coal diesel and ND oil will create tons of wealth, jobs, tax revenues etc. We will not take no for an answer.
All the PUMA lists I read are sending out reminders to poll for Obama so he gets a false sense of what states to campaign in.
When I express how angry they are, just know they are ANGRY.
Hell hath no fury, right?
Hey wait a minute!
I got NOTHING against
people with PhDs in mathematics
(well maybe a little actually- REAL math guys go into ENGINEERING not POLITICS!~ )
I got a MSME from the Univerisity of Hawaii Manoa, Gecko
But this is not MATHEMATICS
THIS IS GUT FEELINGS
AMERICA WILL NOT VOTE IN THE EVIL ISLAMOMARXIST PLANT!
They’ve said so on some of their sites.
That 30% not only plans to vote for Mc/P, but they’re lying to the pollsters about it.
They consider it to be another way to F 0 over.
I have no idea about the lying to pollsters (a practice that I would regard as foolish, since our people also rely on polling data, and making polls less accurate hurts our efforts), but from talking to random folks, I believe that there is a very quiet but very strong tide running for Governor Palin unlike anything that I have experienced in politics.
What is a PUMA?
“This may be inevitable when a party is on the verge of completely cracking up, like the Republicans are now.”
HMMMMM. methinks YOU sir may be a DU or Daily Kook plant
Or as Rush says a SEMINAR POSTER
The republican party is COMPLETELY UNITED
And we have STELLAR DEPTH OF QUALITY PEOPLE
Thompson
Guiliani
Romney
Hunter
and the list goes on and on
the democrat party, depsite their NONSENSE about unity at the BS convention, is DEPPLY DEPPLY divided
they only exist right now for their HATRED of Bush, which is TOTALLY misplaced and insane
and GWB aint on the ballot
whereas the republcans need to get more conservative and MORE AGRESSIVE in going after the democommies and democrooks
there is alot more unity in the conservatives than the libs
we have PRINCIPLES that go WAY beyond party - liberty, freedom, individual responsibility, the free market, the right to keep and bear arms, protection of life, limited government
what do then democommies stand for?
socialism- corruption - greed - death - class warfare
they are GOING DOWN in the long term
Heres several millions (minimum) of PUMAs, etc..

Take a look around these sites for a half hour or 45 minutes....(there are hundreds more linked to these, just look for links)
I am not one, but if I was and was polled, I would be a hard core Obama supporter......
BTW....there is truly something fishy here. The last time the Congress had a drastic change was in 1994...and it came about because of the 'rat stand on gun control.
Now, we have a candidate which is at least as anti-gun, but also has promised to raise taxes, will appoint lunatics to SCOTUS, and most likely will invite old domestic terrorists to the White House as "advisors" and institute socialist economics on the U.S.
I cannot get it thru my mind that Americans will deliberately vote for any of this.
If they do, it will be profoundly disappointing, indicating that Americans no longer believe that freedom is the reason that America is great.
Keep your powder dry...
May God continue to bless the United States.
See my post 33.
Please sir, give me a break, would you? You're exhibiting exactly the sort of behavior of talking about.
I don't know where you get that. What pollsters are doing is adjusting their poll results based on what they have found to be true about the current percentages of the US population that claims to be either Republicans, democrats, or independents Of course a pollster may choose to inflate whichever group he/she wants to make look stronger, and there may be some of that out there, but well-known, reputable pollsters ordinarily won't. There currently ARE significantly more claimed democrats than Republicans in the US. Does this surprise anyone given the way the press demonizes Republicans and covers for democrats, and has for years?
The polls are telling the truth. McCain is losing this election by a significant margin, and unless something very unusual and huge happens before election day, we are going to lose badly, and this country is going to suffer from that loss for many years. The financial/stock market disaster has doomed McCain's campaign. He has been Hooverized by the democrats and the press. Bush has a lot to answer for, IMO.
Agreed. Thanks for the tip on the web site. I work with a few Hillary PUMAs or whatever we call them. They are for McCain. They want Hillary but they know it is impossible. They want nothing to do with Obama and are frightend of him for good reason. He is a ACORN marxist thug.
The other thing the PUMAs or Blue Dogs Dems know is that if Obama wins, their party is gone forever. It will be the ACORN Party. The PUMA’s, if they are smart and I think they are, are playing for 2012 with Hillary.
I also think a lot of people do not understand women. Social interactions are very important. I think the kind words among Hillary, Palin and Ferraro were a big deal. ObamaTons treated Hillary women with thuggery.
The gloom and doomers need to take a breath and go volunteer at McCain-Palin local HQ or donate.
This country has three weeks to wake up.
You’ve just scratched the surface.
There are literally HUNDREDS of these type of sites- and I maintain that we should not discount the number of PUMAs, underestimate just how angry about
1. The fact that they believe the DNC screwed HRC out of the nomination;
2. The misogyny that the 0 campaign directed towards HRC during the primaries, and
3. The misogyny that the 0 campaign is directing towards Palin.
Do not dismiss the effect that the PUMAs are going have on the election.
Again, if only a third of them cross over, that’s SIX MILLION VOTES.
Game, set, match.
It's called demoralizing the opposition. However, it can backwash bigtime on Obama. Some voters will be so convinced that he's already won, they won't even bother to go to the polls.
Good point, that never occurred to my brick like mind. Combine the three, a fired up base, the PUMAS and the over-confident obama supporters, and McCain should win.
