Well, I can hardly bear it. This is the bad Cubs script again: supposedly top-notch pitcher stinks (Dempster, Zambrano), offense does nothing.

Last night and tonight, their long flies reach the seats, our long flies are caught on the warning track.

Zambrano is a choke artist. He’ll always do ok in the regular season, beating the Pirates, Astors and the Reds etc, but he can’t dominate the playoff teams. It was a big mistake to leave him in to no hit the Astros a few weeks ago, he hasn’t been the same since.

Dempster choked (and the O and the pen can’t keep them from tacking on). In game 2 I blame the D. Double play ball dropped, error by Lee, bunt single. 7 outs had to be thrown in that inning.
Can’t handle the postseason pressure? Real shame. Last chance time.
