Hey guys..and gals. I haven't posted on FR in some time. I've been traveling for a good portion of the year. But, the $700 billion bailout has gotten my attention, so I wanted to post something.
I have never posted a vanity before now and don't want to risk my Member in Good Standing status with this question. But, I'll never know unless I try.
Are we allowed to promote personal websites on here? If I had an idea for a product that I felt my fellow Freepers would enjoy, could I direct you to the website with the guarantee (in writing now) that a portion of proceeds would go directly back to funding FR?
Notice I DID NOT put the name of the website in this post. I wouldn't dare do that until I got official word. Is there someone I can contact? Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to everyone!

WOW! Thanks! Didn’t even consider the Mob connection...BELAY MY LAST!
IBTZ!!!
Here is the bible for the FreeRepublic web site.

If the mod says it is OK, feel free. If the mod says No, G’bye.
I know you are NOT allowed to try to ‘sell’ from the threads. On the other hand, there are many here with links to their sites on their Profile pages. It isn't something you would want to do in a blatant way.
They show their books and talk of ‘banners’ for sale! Ask a Moderator about it.
Thanks, potlatch and sundog. I’ve been a freeper for a bit, but haven’t really posted and honestly couldn’t remember some of da rulz. I’m just gonna drop it. I might slap up something in my profile.
Thanks, again, guys...except for Joe-6-pack...that was a premature zot!
You’re welcome. I’m a gal, and some of the guys are too quick on the zot draw, lol.
boy, you really did a nice job there!
Thanks, just my contribution to the McCain/Palin Ticket.
