she and the first dude resonate with Reagan democrats

Yep. And I bet there are millions of them that haven’t voted in years who are registering as we speak.

Come to think of it, that is one of the nice characteristics of Palin, she is leading the charge...

...without all the frigging national doubt and self deprecating irony

Wouldn’t doubt it for a moment, mate! Older than dirt, but still sharp as a new stiletto, he is.

What I find surprising is that the so much counted on youth vote for BO is no longer one sided. A lot of young women and men find her very appealing. That might be the biggest shock of all short of some black votes defecting.

Could be that Palin has been a much wanted jolt of caffiene for tens of millions who didn’t have the political energy to get involved and vote.

I think that McCain will slowly allow Sarah to do more and more. From the day he introduced her, it seemed to me he was telling her not to hold back.

Don’t you think she will start to influence him, once the victory over obambi is secured?

black votes defecting
//////////
?
I have my own reasons why I think blacks may stay home on election day, but what are your reasons?

Well I think there are a lot of skeletons in obama’s closet. Once they come out of the closet, it will be such an embarrassment to Blacks that they will decide to teach him a lesson.

The ZerObamassiah stood around while his supporters said, “Mrs. Palin needs to be reminded that Jesus Christ was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor.” Did he forget something? Did he forget he was a Christian? If he was the Christian he claims to be, he would have instantly put a stop to such language. Nope. Not. Nada. The ZerObamassiah lives up to his new name. He did nothing. Zero.

Christ was not a community organizer. Christ was truth. With the truth he saved all mankind. The ZerObamassiah has failed to follow the first rule of Christianity: ask, “What would Jesus do?” Obama could used this opportunity to tell the world the meaning Jesus in his life. To call Jesus a community organizer was to misunderstand Jesus’ purpose to the world. To compare the governors of our 50 states to Pontius Pilate was a distortion and an outrage. Instead we heard zip zero nada.

ZerObamassiah is an apt name for Obama’s leadership. It is that failure in leadership that has failed to apply what one should know about his Christianity and the failure of responsibility to do what Jesus would do.

My expectation is that BO will get a record turnout of black voters and he will get something in the 90%+ range but if there is one possible chink in that it might be some female blacks might like Sarah but that is all I can speculate. Gore and Kerry got around 90% too so it sort of stands to reason BO will be a little bit better.

Not to risk getting blasted as a troll, I wanted to post this as a point of interest:

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/09/palins-favorability-numbers-eroding.html

NOTE: Consider the source!

I'm not taking this terribly seriously, but on the other hand, I don't think anyone can honestly say Palin's appearance with Charlie Gibson has BOOSTED her popularity.

McCain's gonna have to win this on his own merits--which was always the case.

If I, as a Jew, am enjoying this dramatic payback, what must the Christians be feeling?

A curious question for this atheist who's a Palin fan.

I don't think I've ever talked about or even thought very much about Palin's religious belief as it affects her political actions. I don't care WHAT influences someone's decision-making process; I care about the decisions, period. And from extensive reading of her record, Palin is my kind of politician. I kind of wish people would get away from labels (moose hunter, female pol, Ebay poster) and focus on her achievments, which completely dwarf Obama's, not to mention Biden's.

And you know what, ole obambi stunk it up as a community organizer. Heck anyone can just go to Chicago and see he stunk it up. lol

Yep your so right. Where are the Pastors out there? They should be outraged that someone running for President of the United States is calling Jesus that.

More Obambi mentality......
Gen. McArthur was a cook.
Gen. Lee was drummer boy
Gen. Patton was ....nah he might just come back and wup me for saying something Patton was mean.

From "God Damn America" Rev. Jeremiah Wright to "Didn't-Throw-Enough-Bombs" Bill Ayers to "Finally-I'm-Proud-of-America" Michelle Obama, all the negativity that might hurt Obama is lovingly sponged away by the hopelessly and haplessly biased major media.

Excellent!

Well thats the way it should be...and lets not forget that this was a risky decision and it was McCain’s.

Lots of angles on this...including obambi’s continued insistancy of shooting holes in his feet.

Wanting to keep more of what they earn?

Not wanting the First Black President to go down in the history books as an Unmitigated Disaster??
