The owners of Pacifier believe they're the ones who satisfied the baby clothing needs of Trig Palin.
"The brown/blue chunky stripe romper that baby Trig sported at the RNC was purchased at Pacifier in Gaviidae Common," e-mailed Wing Witthuhn. She and her husband, Jon Witthuhn, own two of the urban baby boutiques.
A woman believed to be a campaign worker came into Gaviidae's Pacifier looking for something dressy, but not too dressy, for a 5-month-old. The woman said she had tried Macy's and Saks but had no luck.
Reflecting on the customer, Jon told me Thursday that there were clues the clothing was being purchased for Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's baby: "I made some assumptions after [the campaign aide] asked me for advice for kids of other ages. I was [also] suspicious that she'd be running around shopping on a RNC credit card."
Jon recommended the finely knit layette from Egg and mismatched striped/dot socks by Trumpette, which Wing thinks she noticed on TV "peeking out at the ankles."
Trig was not wearing the matching knit hat purchase. Had he worn it, we'd have missed the delightful video of his sister Piper licking her palm more than once to slick down Trig's hair.

Gaviidae is a really classy shopping center. For a few months I performed there with a friend of mine, at one of D’Amico’s restaurants.
This has to be satire - something warm and fuzzy? About a Palin!?
Ok.. so?
The kid was wearing clothes and the neanderthal woman from Alaska had to buy them instead of weaving them herself? What is the point of this crap?
More proof that Gov. Palin is the worst kind of mother and therefore not fit to be on the ticket...do I really need to say sarcasm off?
Grasping at their fleeting moment of fame?

And published in the RedStar & Sickle?
No, it’s true. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPpNoHtkvLs
My wife and I both got a laugh out of that.
Among people who aren’t insane, there is a kind of Palin mania now, and people are fascinated by her. Even better, the Palin fascination is much more wholesome than the Obama phenomenon.
People on our side aren’t worshipping Palin in the bizarre Wayne’s World we’re-not-worthy sort of way that Democrats treat Obama.
Probably because, unlike most people on the Left, we already have Someone that we worship.
Where the purchases placed in a paper or a plastic bag? Inquiring minds ....
It's a stark difference.
What a beautiful baby!
I have to stay out of malls with baby stores. I go nuts and can’t stop buying stuff for my grandkids.
"I made some assumptions after [the campaign aide] asked me for advice for kids of other ages. I was [also] suspicious that she'd be running around shopping on a RNC credit card."
This is news why? Did the aide not have proper ID? Is the shop owner fearing VISA or MC won't pay the purchase? Or that there will be a 'liberal mommy' backlash? This is a very odd article...
I watched Piper’s grooming TZrig live - what I can’t believe is something NICE about it from the Left.
My two grandsons always say to me, “Well you know you love doing it - it’s part of your Grandma thing!”
Yeah, but I have 21 grandkids. I would go bankrupt very fast.
How lucky you are - our children and their children are the only really important things we leave on this earth. Lots of grandparents don’t spend time with the kiddos but they should - it’s memory building time and there are many things that only we will teach them. Both grandsons always have a fit if I don’t make cookies when I know they’re going to be around. They also give you a chance to do things you didn’t have time or money to do with your own or kid things they didn’t have when we were growing up. I still love the circus and merry-go-round!
Nah!
Proud THEY were ones that supplied a garment worn by a cute kid suddenly noticed by 38 million people.
(Can you find any 704 glasses?)
