I'm sick to my stomach. Although I knew she was going to have to do this..she does take a point of view and she does stick to it, I'm still just sick to my stomach. And for those here who dismiss this woman, you couldn't be more wrong..her books sell like wildfire, her shows sell out and alot of women take what she says as the gospel.
She did say she would still vote for McCain, but she said she wished there was a third party to vote for.
And for those of you who want to attack me for reporting this here, please, please direct your anger elsewhere. I'm not the problem.
I'll post the blog when she uploads it. It's not there yet, but she said on her show she' put it up.

Dr. Laura is unyeildingly consistent. Unfortunately, that attitude sometimes results in stupidity amazingly similar to zero tolerance policies.

There was a time I listened to Dr. Laura, but her judgmental rants against working moms is a real turn off to me.
I like Laura but after the nudie pics she posed for as a youth (will not post) she can hardly cast stones.
Years ago I used to like her show a lot—she was good at giving tough love to her callers, but there was some love to go along with the tough. Then she seemed to, over time, get more interested in berating people than providing advice and help.
Obviously I don’t know what she said, but if she was berating Bristol Palin, well, considering past indiscretions, I don’t think Dr. Laura is one to be throwing stones, now is she?

Laura is a bitter little woman, who God only knows why anyone listens to her.
She would not know the right thing to do if it hit her in the behind.

I was wondering what she would say—although I kind of figured what view she would take. Personally, I think she should shut her bucket mouth. Will she be happy when Obama is president? Oh well.

Hey, thanks for updating us Hildy, and I wouldn’t worry about what that shrew has to say, she’s a self-righteous witch who does more harm to the conservative cause than any good she may accomplish.
And ‘Doctor’ Laura is still embarrassed to this day about those nekkid pics of hers that made it on to the Internet.
She’s a pissant, (w/apologies to pissant) I would rank her in urgency about where I rank dog droppings in my front yard, I just step around it.
And the dog droppings have more character anyway, and actually fertilize the grass.
Maybe I’m out of touch but I just fail to see what the problem is. A 17 year old girl has sex with her boyfriend and gets pregnant, decides to keep the baby and they’ll be married. This just seems commonplace to me. Am I wrong?
I’ll bet has to do with her choosing a career instead of taking care of her infant child. It also adds to the idea that you aren’t aern’t a successful woman unless you have a career outside the home.
If so, I can respect Dr. Laurya on that. She’s consistent with her views.
I actually agree with her on that but I still support Sarah Palin and think she would make a good VP.
Dr. Laura is like listening to a minister.....but, not qualified to choose a President.....I quit regularly listening to her when she told a young, married woman who taught young school children that it was her obligation to have children of her own with her husband....I’m sorry....some people should NOT have children....and Thank God there are others who should have a gazillion!
Dr. Laura is not someone I take seriously, and I feel sorry for anyone who does. But I hear that David Duchovny really liked her web photos (just joking, Dave!).
Yep, Judge Judy'esk. Forms an opinion based on very little information and no matter what the caller says, sticks to her guns and BLASTS people no matter HOW offbase she obviously is once the entire story is revealed. All of it presented with wolverine temperment. It became a predictable yawn.
I live in the same town as Laura. I was here first. Wish she would leave. Here’s what I have to say to her...

If you get the context then Laura will never bother you again. She’s just another self-important celebrity. Anyone who has to resort to listening to her advice needs to see a pastor or a priest, and quit listening to this busy-body.
Didn’t she pose in full bushy skankiness for her BBF back when she was a young adult? Imagine the really strange predicaments young women can get themselves into.

Dr. Laura ain’t what she used to be. The numbers on her radio show have been dwindling for years - the same as her book sales.
However, she does enjoy beating up her listeners. She does excel at that.
Anything Dr. Laura says should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt.

Not a surprise. At least, whatever her opinion of Sarah Palin, she has the sense to observe that there’s not a better candidate available than John McCain.
Dr. Laura hates women. She hates that she is a woman herself...she wants to be a man. If you have ever listened to her show all you hear is her tearing apart her listeners. The women that listen to her are utterly unstable and Dr. Laura plays off them.
The only reason Dr. Laura is tearing Palin apart is that she is jealous and an unmitigated blow hard. I would listen to Rush on the way to work in the morning and when I left for lunch Dr. Laura would be on. It would take all of two seconds for me to scream at the sound of her droaning smarmy voice and I would lunge for the dial to change the channel. She is a pinhead.

From what I heard, Dr. Laura is basing her criticism of Palin not for the pregnant daughter, but because as a mother, Palin won’t be able to give enough time to her family. Possibly true, but as my wife says, we’re not voting for mother of the year, we’re voting for a president and vice president.
Her own mother died and lay dead in her apartment for three days before anyone found her. You can add Suze Ormann to the list, the financial advisor who can’t handle her money (and has never slept with a man).
Justifying poor behavior by pointing out someone else’s *worse* behavior is what liberals do. I doubt Dr. Laura got on the air and first said she had never made any mistakes in her own life before disagreeing with the popular think on the topic of the Palin family situation.
Dr. Laura knows about those pictures and she knows the rest of the world does as well. She’s more than paid for that mistake over the years already. Why is it that every time she disagrees with you all do you feel the need to attack her on that same point again? When is enough enough? Can she ever be forgiven?
