It did NOT take long for the left to smear Sarah Palin, who has re-ignited the conservative base like no one has since the Reagan days--and appears to be ready to pull a LOT of PUMA's and others from the Dem side.
The thing is:: Since they have little to go after her for in reality--they are now suggesting something SURE to enrage nearly ALL women across America::And that is--Sarah's latest child is NOT hers--but her daughters!!
This, is, of course, designed to show that she is just a "hypocrite" and was too ashamed to admit her daughters unwed pregnancy. Also they are saying her oldest son was conceived before she was married.
ALL of this is designed to "turn off" the "values voters" and taint her image as a "rising star" in Conservative politics.
However--sinking to such LOW levels will most likely backfire badly!! As a conservative I do NOT care if Sarah was pregnant before she was married, at least she got married and had her child. And I do NOT believe she would "fake her daughters pregnancy" either--so what if her daughter was pregnant?? How would that hurt HER??
Keep on smearing Kos and DU. If this is all you have...Obama will be lucky to carry five states, by the time you enrage women out there, like this will most likely do!!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. My purpose is not to be a troll, rather give you a respectful, genuine idea of what a swing voter thinks of this issue. I’ve voted Democrat since I can remember but it is silliness like this that makes me question whether I want to be affiliated anymore with the Democratic party. I understand that there is a place for everyone’s opinion, and everyone has a right to express it , but when the discussion becomes radicalized, or mean-spirited as it is in this case, it pushes people to the other side and hurts the Democratic cause. I know many of you don’t want to hear this, but it’s a fact. This is why the race isn’t more lopsided at this point. There are a lot of swing voters like myself who are looking for some common sense and decency. Not silly, salacious rumors and gossip about who is the mother of a Down’s Syndrome child. One more thing. I am pro-choice but this language you use about it being “your” body, is a red herring. It’s NOT your body that the pro-lifers are talking about, it’s the baby’s body INSIDE of your body. It has a different blood type and different DNA and it’s own finger and toes. As I understand it, the pro-lifers say you can do anything you want with your OWN body, but they object to you destroying the body of your unborn child. I personally believe that a fetus is not yet conscious, nor a human being yet. so that’s why I’m pro-choice. Thanks for reading and pardon what I am sure are many spelling mistakes.
I feel sorry that her daughter has been maligned by these wicked people. She is a teen and at a very tender age in respect to peers. They are really desperate to attack someone who has no voice in this election.
This one would obviously be tit-for-tat for Obama's mother getting pregnant before she was married.
From just looking at the calendar, I suspect that Obama's mother, whose birthday is November 29, had a fling (first time?) with Obama Sr. on her 18th birthday in 1960, as it was also her first year in college. Obama was born 9 months later in August 1961. Divorce papers indicate that she married Obama Sr. in February 1961.

The neat thing is that I’ve seen several hillary supporters stick up for Palin. i think the disaffected female Dems may have more sway now than we could have imagined.

By the way, a statement of Mark Steyn’s that I read today needs to become our rallying cry. He said (paraphrasing), that Sarah Palin has run a state, a town, and a commercial fishing business. All that Obama has run is his mouth.

The news would have you think that the nation has no good people left in her to the point that even our enemies think that we are ripe for the plucking!.....They couldn’t be more wrong !
Most of us are unconscious about 8 hours a day. Are we too fair game if we are inconvenient to someone? Maybe the Dems whould support the legalizing of killing anyone who is unconscious. I don’t get this line of reasoning at all.
By the way, I have been fascetiously using Big Zero or Senator Zero to refer to Obama. It just occurred to me that it works better than I thought: B.O. = Big Zero. Also, that logo on the tail of his plane isn’t an “O” either, it’s a zero.
One more random (and sorry, off-topic) thought: I came across a clip of Zero making a stump speech where he says that his uncle was among the group of American soldiers that liberated Auschwitz (this was on Glenn Beck’s show). Glenn nearly came out of his chair before his guest, Ben Stein realized the same thing that Glenn did, namely that the RUSSIANS liberated Auschwitz, since it is in Poland. The Americans never reached it.

Actually, being asleep is not the same thing as being unconscious but I agree with your point. If a person gets knocked unconscious, is the person not still a human? That is not the criteria used to determine if a living organism is a human or not. It’s a way for people to fool themselves into rationalizing away abortion.
