When I looked at the reviews yesterday afternoon, there were over 250 reviews with about 220-30 ONE STAR reviews!
As of this moment, there are only 23 reviews left!
After all those reviewers took time to write some lengthy, well thought out, scathing reviews, Amazon decided to dump them.
I'll give Amazon credit for dumping a couple of the 5 star reviews. But then again, they should have been dumped, because you could tell the person NEVER read the book!
All you reviewers better get back there and RIP Amazon a new one for dumping your reviews!
I am surprised that more than 200 people have even read Pelosi’s book. Even more surprised that most people that have read the book appear to be conservatives.
I’ll bet that hardly anyone reviewing the book actually read the book, let alone bought it....on both sides.
I’ll say... I would probably die of boredom or end up ripping out a lot of the pages, which would make the library very sad!
Exactly. I would say fewer than 25% of all reviews on Amazon come from people who have actually read the book. Most reviews are commentaries on the author and/or subject matter.
That is too bad most were pretty entertaining. Lots of critisim for wasting the trees on what amounts to a bad novel.
There were a LOT of good ones, whether they read the whole book or not! What a waste of most EXCELLENT reviews!
I suggest we liven up the reviews with some FR reviews of Pelosi.

Let’s get that rating down to ONE star again where it belongs!
Too bad you can’t give ZERO, that would be a REAL stinger!
Keep bumping this up ...
I added my review.
They also changed the most critical review from one that was really scathing to the one title “A not so great book from a great lady.” Are you kidding me Amazon? That was NOT the most critical review. Wow. Makes me want to go buy 2 more of the Corsi book. I wonder if any of his reviews have been changed as well?
Also, the timing is suspect. The reviews got changed, yesterday? Wasn’t yesterday (08/01) the day Pelosi turned out the lights in the house and forced the Reps out with Capital Police escorts at 5 pm? Interesting timing.

BUMP!!

Yea, I’ll bet that, too. Amazon ought to limit ratings to people who actually bought the book.
Often, people write reviews of books they have not read. You can pretty much tell at Amazon by looking at the reviewers’ “other reviews.” If there are none, chances are that nonreaders are slamming the book on general principles.
There are other forums for that.
It's always good to know one's enemies. (And I do mean that literally.)
Thanks for the link. I tried to post my own review. We’ll see if it gets published.

What they wiped out were not reviews but orchestrated diatribes by the right wing psychos at FreeRepublic.
Well, good luck, Amazon.
The moonbats are starting over again.
Gee, the woman is amazing. How does she find the time to write a book when she’s spending most of her time fending off attempts to have a vote on oil drilling, bad mouthing George Bush, looking in the mirror and wondering where her next plastic surgery should take place, and of course saving the planet. Since she’s busy saving the planet I’m guessing that will be her next tome. What is her message to America’s daughters anyway?

Pelousi must have threatened Amazon with no more access to capitalism.
Amazon.com Sales Rank: #961 in Books
Uh oh... She’s shot back up to #924!
We must be giving her too much exposure... That’s a scary thought!
Amazon does this from time to time when it’s obvious there are a lot of bogus reviews. It does not necessarily have to do with politics. When Spielberg/Cruise War of the Worlds was coming out some direct to video production company made a War of the Worlds movie that follows exactly the HG Wells book. In this case, the movie took place in the Victorian era. Being a fan of period pieces I bought it dirt cheap at Walmart and it was horrid. I wrote a review on Amazon. What happened was lackeys for the production company wrote reviews giving it 5 stars and charging people who were writing negative reviews were working for Paramount or Universal. Eventually Amazon wiped out all the reviews out.
