Let's go over to the "Smears" website and use their "PUSH BACK NOW" form letter -- except that before you mail it out, you change the verbiage from:

"Friend --

You may have recently heard right-wing smears questioning Barack Obama's birth certificate and citizenship.

These assertions are completely false and designed to play into the worst kind of stereotypes.

Anyone in liberal HI who produced a fradulent certificate would be summarily dismissed from the liberal state government in liberal Honolulu. People in HI are among the most vociferous worshippers of the new “messiah”.

Notice on Obama's official site, his birth certificate says OHBM 1.1 in the lower left corner.

The original document displayed on the Daily KOS website says OHSM 1.1 in the lower left corner.

The million dollar question is: If the Daily KOS document was supplied by a Obama campaign staffer, as was reported, then how on earth can these two documents differ?

There may be a Hawaiian state agency or department with the initials 'OHBM', but I'm not aware of any.

The agency that you request a copy of a birth certificate from is the 'Office of Health Status Monitoring', OHSM.

The genie is out of the bottle now and it's impossible to "take back" the images. They are immortalized all over the web on different sites. Anyone can see this hard proof of skullduggery for themselves.

Why is the certificate # blacked out?

African is not a race! In 1961, wouldn't Negro or Negroid have been used to describe his Father's race instead of African?

Where is the indentation of the official seal and the folded marks, the rest of us have on our valid birth certificate copies?

Last but not least: What are the reverse purple lettering past the last entry line on the lower middle right? What do they mean, and why are they there?

Is this phoney birth certificate just another example of the Real but Fake Hussein ObamaMessiaHamas, the Islamofacist Manchurian Candidate for Changing America?

I have no idea what the law is, but it is obvious that someone, or some group, will have to take this matter before the proper court/authority if anything is to be fully explored. If there were nothing wrong, Obama would pay the 10 bucks and get the certificate from Hawaii. The only other possibility is that the whole thing is a scam, worked by the Barry Hussein campaign, in the hope that some recognizable republican makes a big magilla out of the situation. Obama, lying in wait for just such an opportunity, will then ceremoniously present the real birth certificate along with the obligatory “see, they are all just racists” remark. The media will have a field day and those evil republicans will once again be proven to be racists and bigots and fill in the blank with the smear of your choice.

It, too, says "OHSM," but because of the deliberate reduction in size and change in shape, magnifying it makes the "S" look like a "B."

Actually, it would make sense if their forgery had "OHBM" 'cause then they could use it as their new acronym, OH Bah Mah.

There is a government agency --ICE -- I think it stands for Immigration and Citizenship Enforcement. Threy deal with illegals who use phony documents, like birth certificates, to gain entry into the US. Their website is www.ice.gov

I'm thinking the reverse purple lettering on document reflects a bleed through stamp “certifying” the document that was generated on recent equipment. I've ordered numerous “certified copies” of my family's birth certificates and they always come on new form (different than was issued in the 30’s or even 60’s computer printed on their current certified stock and a certifying date stamp usually on the reverse. Can't tell if it embossed or not on the computer screen, knowing that many governmental documents are embossed but that the clerk preparing the document often makes it very faint and barely detectable to the touch as to whether it is embossed. Seem this more than once first hand.

On the other hand I hope it is a fake and can be proven.
