OK, done. It’s in my Netflix queue.
Similar excellent Brit crime films (but not all “L”s) are the superb Sexy Beast with Ben Kingsly at his most malevolent, and three Guy Ritchie numbers: Snatch; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; and Revolver.

You laugh, but the 1962 Stanley Kubrick film was very well done and very well acted.
But on to more Ls . . .
A League of Their Own
Love is a Many Splendored Thing
Last Train to Gun Hill (one of the smartest Westerns of them all, and one of the best turns you'll ever see out of Anthony Quinn and Kirk Douglas.)
The Lake House
The Lost Weekend
Let the Good Times Roll (and let yourself go crazy when Little Richard steals the show)

I love this series. However, Jakarta ex-pat titled this one differently than all the rest, so it doesn’t come up in the search in order as the rest of them do. Mod, could you change the title to read “Ten” instead of “10” ? That will make it come up in the search.

Great series! However, the title hasn’t been changed yet, so either they’re having a busy day, or the author has to make the request...
Hope I didn’t offend. :-)

I love “The Longest Day”! My husband laughs at me, cause it’s a little cheesey in spots, but there’s nothing I love better than a good, earnest, ensemble movie.
