A Royal Navy aircraft engineer claims to have seen a "glowing" UFO hover over the M5 motorway.
Michael Madden, 25, said he watched in disbelief as the disc-shaped object floated above his head before it "zoomed off at incredible speed".
He said the unidentified flying object flew for up to three minutes above junction 21 of the M5, near Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.
Mr Madden was on his way back from Manchester with colleague Michael Casson, 22, at 9.50pm on Sunday June 29 when he saw the suspected 'extra-terrestrial' craft....

I am not a “denier” of ET, but I am one hell of a skeptic.
There has been over 50 years of ET and not ONE single confirming evidence.
For ETs to exist, it requires all the known laws of Physics to be overturned... exceed speed of light, believe in parallel universes or worm holes...
Maybe so, but I say they are not here until I see one.
The idea that all governments in the world know but cover it up is just BS.
When times get tough, even scary, people turn to religion. Those without any solid religion turn to any fake religion that appeals to them. Same thing with UFOs and the scary condition of the world today. They think maybe the UFOs will save us. Sad.
Yeah...I’m STILL waiting for a concise, clear coherent, NOT photoshopped image of one........
“Yeah...Im STILL waiting for a concise, clear coherent, NOT photoshopped image of one.”
Yea... I remember the one that everyone went gaga over some months ago. It was very strange looking, but the first thing I noticed was the cut off kitchen wisp sticking out of the top.
It WAS eventually shown to be a photoshop job.
To be logically precise - A UFO is exactly what its acronym would lead one to believe - an unidentified flying object. Almost by definition these do exist. Now whether there are little green men flying them is another question altogether. Somehow people seem to equate “unidentified” with “little green men” although logic would dictate o/w.
If the UFOs would drop off the specifications for their power source...
Whatever these things are, they tend to be sighted in the months preceding an event which is considered major by humans (war, big earthquake in susceptible area, etc.).
I have been on the M5. I never saw a UFO but I have had some fast Jaguars pass me.
But Bob Lazaar WORKED ON their anti-gravity propulsion sysytems!
see?
he WORKED ON them~!!
(seriuously, I love his stories)
Did anyone here see the vid that the officer shot with his cell phone? The previous event of the multiple cubes that kept changing colors. Most of the witnesses were army personnel I believe. That was a pretty strange video.
THOSE FLYING SAUCERS
(The Buchanan Brothers, RCA Victor 20-2385,
1947)
Youd better pray to the Lord when you see those flying saucers
It may be the coming of the Judgment Day
Its a sign theres no doubt of the trouble thats about
So I say my friends youd better start to pray
Theyre a terrifying sight as they fly on day and night
Its a warning that wed better mend our ways
Youd better pray to the Lord when you see those flying saucers
It may be the coming of the Judgment Day
Many people think the saucers might be someones foolish dream
Or maybe they were sent down here from Mars
If youll just stop and think youd realize just what it means
Theyre more than atom bombs or falling stars
And though the war may be through theres unrest and trouble brewin
And those flying saucers may be just a sign
That if peace doesnt come it will be the end of some
So repent today, youre running out of time
When you see a saucer fly like a comet through the sky
You should realize the price youll have to pay
Youd better pray to the Lord when you see those flying saucers
It may be the coming of the Judgment Day
UFO ping!
Oy loikes me Hookie, Oy do!
This is just one of MANY legit unmanned “drone” stories which have appeared over the past couple of years:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1690674/posts
FR has been replete with stories of “drones” being fashioned for everything from simple observation to crowd control. The ones planned for use during the Chinese Olympics reportedly are saucer-shaped (that’s going to be fun!).
So while the thing with the “kitchen wisp” may have been a hoax, it’s just as likely it was a test.
They’re here, they ain’t interplanetary, and they’re a bigtime growth industry.
Well, for ET’s to have come all the way to earth, yeah, they would probably have to break a law or two of physics, but wormholes and parallel universes don’t break any of those laws (although, getting from the parallel universes to this one would present some problems). For them to just exist, and say, sit happily on their planet trillions of light-years away, doesn’t break any laws of physics.
In any case, I’m massively skeptical of this one, because if it was over the M5, I think more than just two people would’ve seen it, cause it’s not like some abandoned country road, it’s a huge highway going around London.
UFO PING LIST PING.
Please let Las Vegas Dave and I know if you want on or off the ping list.
When out and about . . . look UP!
Just don’t take any rides!
“In the Name of Jesus, OUT OF MY FACE! AWAY FROM ME!” works well.
See
Thanks for the ping.
So, what’s your interpretation of the increase in sightings; increase in brazenness of the sightings etc.?
This is England so it was probably just a prototype of a new civilian aerial surveillance drone.
no comment. lol

Yeah! And no Government would lie about a thing like that!

OLYMPUS MONS - A report released by the Martian Government today claims that an investigation into sightings of strange wheeled craft on the planet has been completed. According to an anonymous government source, the report concludes that the objects, reported by witnesses to be intelligently controlled and not of Martian origin, are in fact weather balloons wrapped in ball lightning being blown across the planet surface by swamp gas. Or they are the planet Venus. (AP)
Here’s a very fascinating photo taken inadvertantly while photog was photographing the moon . . . UFO is above the moon.
http://www.mufoncms.com/files/7777_submitter_file1__notsurewhatthisis.jpg
WELL PUT.
THX.
BTW, The last photo needs to be enlarged to see th elights above the moon clearly. Very interesting when zoomed in on.
That was the single most difficult thing for my husband (an extremely aviation-savvy guy -- he makes his living in the field) to wrestle with when he and his son and some neighbors saw a craft shaped like an upside-down pie-plate (with windows in the side, no less) floating over their neighborhood years ago. He had to make a choice: either lie to himeself and deny seeing what he saw, or accept the fact that the "known laws of physics" were faulty indeed.
No, it wasn't the prospect of alien creatures that bugged him. It was the fact that silent anti-gravity, or something that sure looked like it! -- and the ability to move at mind-boggling speed, exist regardless of what we currently undersand of physics.
We were stopped at a red-light (about three or cars back in afternoon traffic) and a bit of motion caught our eyes.
This is very difficult to describe, so please bear with me.
It was almost clear. Imagine looking through leaded glass. Very wavery. (sp?)
It was going about the same speed as your average jet.
It was flying below cloud level and my best guess is that it was the size of a football field. Absolutely huge.
The front edge was sharp and curved and the only indication that anything was there was that perfectly straight wavery space. The wavery line got longer as if it were leaving a contrail as wide as the object itself.
A horn honked and I realized that almost everyone at the light was staring at the object. The light was almost back to yellow before someone noticed and things began moving again.
This was much too sharp-edged to have been a weather phenomena and Ive never seen anything which came close to this. Something solid *was* there.
I don't know *what* we saw. I do *believe* that we saw a very good attempt to "cloak" a ship. Had it been night it would've been completely undetectable to the eye.
I can understand how someone witnessing the same thing would jump to the conclusion that this was extra-terrestrial, but I'm willing to accept the possibility that we're smart enough to come up with something this advanced for ourselves.
I knew a young man who was walking home late at night (no drugs or alcohol involved! lol!) and saw a huge triangular-shaped craft silently and slowly drifting over Ft. Stewart, GA. It was so low that it bent some of the taller tree-tops and made absolutely no noise at all. (scared the crap out of him and he was *not* happy to share this story.)
There are hundreds of reliable witnesses who have seen objects moving at impossible speeds, turning at right angles and flying in formation.
Again, are we this good? I really hope so! But it is hard to imagine us mastering this level of technology when were still strapping rockets to our butts to get into space. When its eventually found out what these objects are, Im OK either way. The universe is much too vast for me to close my mind to the possibility that there are other people out there, but I also think were capable of much more than the majority of us can dream.
That’s a good photograph, Quix. Very interesting.
THANKS FOR YOUR FINE POST and kind comment.
My relative insists we got our technologies re such from ET’s.
Is there any documentation of this?
I’m waiting on one to land on my front lawn and deliver a pizza and a 6-pack of beer to my doorstep. Wait, wait, wait. I guess it’s free, more than 30 mins....
With regard to the fascinating photo, I think it is simply a plane flying by. The lights are sharp, and are in a repeating pattern. The moon is slightly fuzzy, as you might expect with a 5 second exposure of a very slowly moving object. My humble opinion is that the lights above the moon are sharp because they show a repeating flash - about a second between flashes - and so you are seeing four repetitions of the pattern.
Some on the ATS thread agree with you.
http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread367991/pg1
However, most disagree.
I think a plane would have been fewer light images and that they would have been much more blurred.
Much appreciate your thoughtful comment.
Not sure what the tally is now.
More may agree with you than I thought.
I still don’t think it’s a plane.
Blessings,
I believe you and others have seen ‘something” but thinking it is aliens beings from another solar system is not the answer that I would come up with. But I could be wrong and will gladly admit it if this turns out to be what people are seeing. There is going to have to be more proof, for me, than a cell phone photo.
These are UFO's in the truest sense of the word and we don't know from where they originate.
Wow! Amazing footage! I’m a believer! lol!
Given your criteria - I’m curious as to how many atheists believe in ETI. The scientific method does not support it.
“For them to just exist, and say, sit happily on their planet trillions of light-years away, doesnt break any laws of physics.”
Yes, I agree, but when I say ET, I am referring to Extras that are visiting Earth.
ETs would have to break OUR KNOWN laws of physics to get here.
Anecdotal reports of sitings mean nothing to me.
The same for Bigfoot and all the other things reported
on kook to kook. Just look at those chemtrails, hahaha
Thanks, right time, right place i guess! LOL
Some say there are 3-4 reasons that’s not true but just appears to be true due to our limited knowledge.
Some say there are 3-4 ways around such issues.
Most reports seem to indicate we just simply don’t know what we’re talking about. So much so that some ET’s find the whole idea of such limitations to be exceedingly laughable.

An M5 on the M5....may be mistaken for a UFO.
Why isn’t it hard to imagine that our atmosphere...at least to UFOs...is merely like water in a very large aquarium.
We’ve all seen dragon flies and moths change direction and fly erratically...hover and dart.
Why not consider that UFOs are intelligent creatures in their own right...and not piloted by something else?
“Why not consider that UFOs are intelligent creatures in their own right...and not piloted by something else?”
Yes they can be anything you want. Even if they are a figment of your imagination, for you they are real.
For many, however, life is just an illusion.
We catch dragonflies and moths and we know what they are.
As for visitations from some other world, SHOW ME THE BEEF.
In the meantime I can not care less what some governor, pilot, or anyone else says they saw.
DO you know if there are internet Links to these videos refrenced in the article:
On June 7 three soldiers said they saw 13 UFOs, which looked like “rotating cubes”, while on night patrol at Tern Hill military barracks near Market Drayton, Shropshire. One, Corporal Mark Proctor, 38, of the 1st Battalion of the Irish Regiment, recorded the sighting on his mobile phone and reported it to Army officers.
...
Then Father-of-two David Osborne, 47, videoed 12 orange objects in the night sky above Basingstoke, Hampshire, at 10.40pm on June 28
Regarding the darting and hovering comment...
It was to explain a poster questioning the technology that allowed an aircraft...or any machine for that matter...to make sudden drastic changes of direction at high speeds with no negative effects on the structure or possible crew.
If they were a lifeform itself...the mobile ability would explain a lot, IMO.
Welllllllllllllllll AlexW . . . enjoy the illusion that a TYPE II ERROR bites less deadly than a TYPE I error does.
In terms of the notion that some craft appear to be organisms . . . some may be. Some have hypothesized that they are ‘other dimensional’ or ‘spiritual.’ Quite plausible.
However, it doesn’t work for me for all of them. My relative worked around tangible craft that were technology.
Also, there are more than 3,000 verified tangible trace etc. sites wherein the sites visited by; landed on; etc. by UFO’s left tangible scientifically verifiable impacts on the environment in more than 3,000 studied cases. The presentation on that at the Aztec Conference in March was quite convincing and well done.
Of course, until one lands in some folks’ laps, they won’t believe anything unusual is going on.
Scientism and a bastardized version at that, seems to be their religion.
I believe there are video links at ATS. I’d search keywords there and then on dogpile.com
I’ve seen either video or still—I think video on the web but I don’t have the link handy . . . let me see . . .
Can’t find it.
There’s evidently some inertial dampening effects vis vis the gravity related propulsion etc.
I’ve seen various explanations for it but they mostly seem to boil down to some variation of the above.
Interestingly, for longer trips, some humans have been encased in fluid filled chambers . . . IIRC, one even having to breathe a highly oxygenated fluid in the fluid filled chamber—very disconcerting.
And, many of the ET’s are quite light—low density critters.
