What hasnt been written about the Great escape as a movie probably isnt worth stating. The stars of course are Tom, Dick and Harry, though lets not forget Steve McQueen (no he didnt really make the jump
though only due to insurance purposes). Oh did I mention Dickie Attenborough playing the no nonsense Big X. Danny the Tunnel King is played by Charles Bronson and James Coburn as The manufacturer. Jim Rockford and Sam Loomis make an unlikely pair of friends who battle against the odds for their freedom.
All right
Here are the big 3 questions.
How many make it to safety and HOW
Which actor had actually spent time in a POW camp?
Which 3 actors are linked by which movie?

"G" Movies:
"Goldfinger" - Generally regarded as the best of the Bond films.

I've pretty much stopped asking, because I have never been answered.
However, which one of the ten I posted would you take out?
Just curious :-)

Except for DDL’s performance, “Gangs of New York” was third rate.

Let’s not forget a brilliant soundtrack, Bill the Butcher, a reasonably crack at history, and some great fight scenes.

I have not seen </b></i>Genevieve</i></b>. I checked IMDB. I assume you mean the 1954 version. Sounds very funny. I think I’ll add it to my Netflix list.

To: #1CTYankee
Ya know, maybe after seeing Goodfellas for the umpteenth time on HBO, I'll stick with Ghost!
Hell I'd probably even stick with Ghostbusters!
Goodfellas is really overrated IMHO.

Thanks for that. I was aware Genevieve wasn't Ealing.
Though I didn't know the same director directed Passport To Pimlico!
My fave Brit movie EVER (and yes it's in my peas!)
