Are you using old spavined coffee-grounds this morning, or is it just because it’s Monday?

spavined SOCIALIST policies! A++ it took my breath away to #1 hear Maxine Waters suggest such a thing and #2 hear poll results that gave a hefty % of americans in favor of such nationalization. GOOD LORD that is scary.

You know, they have this sign at the security screening at the airport that clearly says:

You may request a private area for your personal screening

But if you suggest to the pretty young TSA'er that she touch your privates, they get all upset.

Go figure.

spavined ; adjective 1. suffering from or affected with spavin.

I always hated definitions like that.

Reminds me of the looks we got from a Spanish teacher when we asked what "decadencia" meant. She was aghast that we didn't know it meant "decadence". (Not being an English teacher, we didn't bother with the next question ... and, no, apparantly no one was carrying a dictionary other than one for translation)

Senator Clinton, her candidacy spavined, sits staring gloomily at a Hillary! pin saved from one of the primaries. How could the anointed one, leading for most of the 2004-2008 span, dive so quickly and so totally? Maybe Bill’s Oval Office sin paved the way for Obama. Or maybe it was the fact that the two candidates had the same liberal agenda, each trying to change the world via spend and tax policies, but Barack had greater appeal to the heavily melanized sub-group which makes up such a large proportion of democrat voters.

When the diva pens her next fake autobiography, she will reach for her bottle of brandy, a nip saved for just such a melancholy occasion. Out of the corner of her eye, a van spied, carrying Obama and his contingent to the next rally. At the rally, the “hope and change”din paves the way for this lackluster, inexperienced candidate to take the final step to the prize that should have been hers.

yeah i know, but i figured that #2 would clear it up for ya : )

many times words have a medical definition and then one used in common parlance. i kind of thought that spavined was a veterarian type definition and #2 was common parlance.

i hope you were a little kid when you didn't know what decadence was!

-are you kidding? I am amazed he lived that long considering the drugs he must have done. You would not believe the young guys I see who look 20 years older than they are from that kind of a lifestyle.

Took in a guy yesterday....local frequent flyer, drunk, found on the roadside passed out. Cop 2109ed him, the guy had checked himself out of rehab from his trip in last Sunday this Sunday morning. 3 40oz beers later he can’t wake up, can’t walk without assistance......and back he goes...and was he ever pissed off. Bottom line - he looked not a day under 70 and he was actually in his fifties.

Exactly the triage nurse’s rant. First, I got it taken out on ME for calling in the report....THEN when we got there she ranted about this guy who is a career alcoholic, when they get the young ones, early 20s or younger they do not admit them to their rehab....it’s her contention that they can still be helped and this guy won’t....she said a drunk was the last thing she needed out in the waiting room....can’t blame her there. I was off duty in fifteen minutes when I caught this call....we left him surrounded by hospital security all gloved up....what a sight.

I’m not a spavined individual, but I do feel decrepit.

I didn’t realize how many little things needed to be done around here. There’s more but it’s been nine days of over 110 degrees. Today will be Day Ten.

Have to put everything away except for two small paint cans. I’ll probably put the wrong ones away. Decrepit is right.

But everything is just wonderful. LOL!

For the record, during my several thousand hours of ER work, I never once said a cross word to Paramedics or EMTs. It just wasn’t done. If they had screwed up, I filed an incident report and let the superiors take corrective action.

Democrats want to socialize everything. Even O’Reilly is making me angry. So now it’s the traders fault for the oil prices. I think it’s a tad bit more serious than that. No, it’s not that we have had any nuclear plants built, or oil wells built or gas refineries built in more than a decade. There’s plenty of oil here in the US, but we’re not using it. Don’t even get me going on ANWR.

Everyone is afraid of the Greenies. Why?

The tomatoes got tamataspavined during this heat. I’ll have another chance with the tamatas, but it’s going to be a couple of weeks after the monsoon season starts.
