SO far:
Do you think that same sex marriages should be legal?
Yes 40%
No 55%
Don't know 5%
Poll is near the bottom of the screen, right hand side.
Next.
Good morning. We want to apply for a marriage license.
Names?
Tim and Jim Jones.
Jones? Are you related? I see a resemblance.
Yes, were brothers.
Brothers? You cant get married.
Why not? Arent you giving marriage licenses to same gender couples?
Yes, thousands. But we havent had any siblings. Thats incest!
Incest? No, we are not gay.
Not gay? Then why do you want to get married?
For the financial benefits, of course. And we do love each other.
Besides, we dont have any other prospects.
But were issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples whove been
denied equal protection under the law. If you are not gay, you can get
married to a woman.
Wait a minute. A gay man has the same right to marry a woman as I have.
But just because Im straight doesnt mean I want to marry a woman. I want
to marry Jim.
And I want to marry Tim, Are you going to discriminate against us just
because we are not gay?
All right, all right. Ill give you your license. Next.
Hi. We are here to get married.
Names?
John Smith, Jane James, Robert Green, and June Johnson.
Who wants to marry whom?
We all want to marry ea ch other.
But there are four of you!
Thats right. You see, were all bisexual. I love Jane and Robert, Jane
loves me and June, June loves Robert and Jane, and Robert loves June and
me. All of us getting married together is the only way that we can express
our sexual preferences in a marital relationship.
But weve only been granting licenses to gay and lesbian couples.
So youre discriminating against bisexuals!
No, its just that, well, the traditional idea of marriage is that its
just for couples.
Since when are you standing on tradition?
Well, I mean, you have to draw the line somewhere.
Who says? Theres no logical reason to limit marriage to couples. The more
the better. Besides, we demand our rights! The mayor says the constitution
guarantees equal protection under the law. Give us a marriage license!
All right, all right. Next.
Hello, Id like a marriage license.
In what names?
David Deets.
And the other man?
Thats all. I want to marry myself.
Marry yourself? What do you mean?
Well, my psychiatrist says I have a dual personality, so I want to marry
the two together. Maybe I can file a joint income-tax return.
That does it! I quit!! You people are making a mockery of marriage!!
I'd say the answer is a definite NO!
Leftist “progressives” in Massachusetts have been successful in keeping homosexual “marriage” off the ballot because they know that poll after poll show that it would lose (soundly) in a referendum.
Unequivocally NO.
Hey, what about me and Fido?
You are SO exclusionary..!

Too bad “Of course not! What an asinine question!” isn’t an option.
Call them what you want...They aren’t marriages.
Not to worry, with all the homosexual education and indoctrination going on now in the younger generation (and with a little help from Obama), they’ll soon have the numbers right over the tipping point.
:(
Now its 58% no.
I don’t care. It looks like gays are the only ones who want to get married anyway.
58% - NO
37% - yes
5% - no clue about anything
Excellent bit. That really drives home the absurdity and neurosis of “homosexual marriage.”
Not only should same-sex "marriage" not be legal, but neither should ANY formally government-recognized arrangement similar to marriage - domestic partnership, civil union, no, no, no!
Pathetically, many republicans, including the President, are in favor of offering these marriage-like farces.

Yep, the government should not get involved in these things. Next thing you know, the government is regulating friendships.
Yes, and who would go to the trouble to log on to a web site and record a “don’t know” response?
It’s one thing if somebody calls you and asks a question you can’t answer but this is a different situation entirely.
Government recognizes, i.e. endorses, marriage through formal, legal records, simply because of what marriage already is. Government doesn't create marriage or its rules and nothing the govt does adds or subtracts anything from the reality of the marriage relationship. Formal government recognition is acceptable for the obvious practical issues the marriage relationship confers.
I agree with you.
