Everyone is looking for someone to objurgate for the high gas prices. Seems to me you don't have to look very far:

Note: the graph is a few weeks out of date since it only shows the rise up to $3.56 per gallon rather than $4.00.

If McCain can pin this on the dems and frame the election around it he will win.

That would be his best strategy: Pin the dems on the disaster that would result from their policies — both in the middle east and in terms of our domestic energy prices. And he has the two-year experiment of Pelosi-Reid control of congress as a working laboratory to point to as evidence of the utter failure of their policies.

Barack he speak, to obfuscate,
Hussein he tax, to confiscate,
“No muzzy”, claims he,
“I believe Trinity”,
And no whiteys have rights to objurgate!

Now if only the governor of Alaska could get McCain’s mind right on ANWR and energy in general he could win this thing.
I mean who would have more absolute moral authority on the subject than the governor of Alaska?

The Mets needed someone to objurgate
So poor Willie Randolph has met his fate
His team is a riddle
They’re stuck in the middle
Now fans must look elsewhere to vent their hate

People are POed about the price of gas, Americans can unite on this issue like no other. Foreign policy matters to Republicans, the price of gas to everyone. McCain in touting off shore drilling, he should add in Alaska. It’s a winning issue.

thanks to Ceej, i have had to make a trip to Michaels this AM to buy the exact ingredients for
the Gryffindor friendship bracelet... : ) xsbrownie is on her first week of summer vaca and was needing a craft project. we also bought a rug hooking kit. not sure she will stick with that, but i recall my 8th grade art teacher, who was a drunk, having us create a design for, and then actually put it on the rug hooking canvas, buy and cut the yarn and hook the rug. it was quite a masterpiece if i say so myself and adorned my teenaged room for awhile. so i would think xsbrownie up to the task of a kitted rug hooking project.

if left to their own devices, they drink pepsi like it’s going out of style and eat massive quantities of food, stay up late playing video games and then sleep til early aft. that’s pretty much all there is to know. oh they also watch sports on tv. this particular group likes to golf too.
