I have limited Internet access while underway, (free republic is hard to get sometimes). High bandwidth site are hard to access. I was hoping someone could post it. I will try to access the NWS website.
I grew up in KC and my folks still live there.

Hi, at the moment they have some quick touchdowns, but mostly funnel clouds around Tonganoxie an DeSoto. The news copters are up and showing the pictures. Here in Lenexa it’s just now beginning to thunder. It appears this batch is going up the north and west sides of the metro. It’s 8:00 right now.

And as things quickly change here, it’s now at Bonner Springs and seems to be moving east. Tornado Warning now, Bonner Springs then Edwardsville.

They are perfectly fine right now. They probably don't even know there's bad weather unless they're watching tv :). All the tornadic activity is way west and north.

This is a very slow moving system, they will probably have some big storms with high winds and lots of rain after while. This doesn’t appear to be anything like the storms last night.
