Same-sex "marriage" is illegal in Texas, anyway. Sorry.
Non-news about nothing said by someone put on the spot who was only being nice at the time.
Who will be hosting the pre-nup negotiations? Those should have more fireworks than the wedding.
I would normally agree, but we can only guess what the left and its gay agenda minions will do with this. If nothing else, they’ll be writing about the “rift” between Jenna and her “fascist hate-mongering” parents.
LOL! How about Gloria Allred?
Let's not trash Jenna, FReepers.
sw
Maybe Jenna can invite all the disturbed women out there to hang out at the ranch, Cindy Sheehan included.

At a State Department ceremony this week, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice warmly acknowledged the family members of Mark Dybul, whom she was swearing in as the nation's new global AIDS coordinator.
As first lady Laura Bush looked on, Rice singled out his partner, Jason Claire, and Claire's mother. Rice referred to her as Dybul's "mother-in-law."
Dear God, our country is gone.
As John McCain scratched Condi's name off the Veep list.
Thought I read that Portia called things off?
Trying to figure out that sentence, and the music I’m listening to, Dream Theater, is leaving my face with a big “what the heck” look on it.
Love the sinner, hate the sin... There is nothing wrong with being friendly and open with gays. There is a problem with condoning their behavior, but it’s pretty obvious in this case it was done in jest and Ellen was sport enough to go along with it.
get ready folks, you ain't seen nothing yet!
Yeah, LOL, making it bold just made it worse.
According to the State Department transcript, Rice said:
“Thank you. Thank you very much. I am truly honored and delighted to have the opportunity to swear in Mark Dybul as our next Global AIDS Coordinator. I am pleased to do that in the presence of Mark’s parents, Claire and Richard; his partner, Jason; and his mother-in-law, Marilyn. You have wonderful family to support you, Mark, and I know that’s always important to us. Welcome.”
Read the article, Ellen put her on the spot and Jenna was polite. She did’nt offer anything.
Yes, they are trying to find a way to get someone else to pay their expenses. It’s called “liberalism”.
Thank you!
Didn’t Jenna say the other day that she might not be voting for McCain? There might be a split in the family on some of these issues.
I believe at least one of Nixon’s daughters said she was planning on voting for Obama. We can’t guarantee that because we are conservative our children will turn out the same, but we still love them.
Hell, look at Ronald Reagan’s kids.
Ron Reagan Jr. is an out-and-out moonbat. Even at Reagan’s internment at Simi Valley, Ron Jr. made a dig at Bush during the service.
It’s ironic.....the only normal Reagan kid is the one who was adopted, Michael Reagan.
Hey, little girl, you live in Baltimore now.
Jenna's P.C. book on an HIV-infected woman raised my first eyebrow. Then the McCain comment. Now this crap. Seems pretty obvious where she leans. Where most every Bush has leaned--to the "center"--to "get along", like Papa Bush did, to disastrous results. These Bushes seem so "nice" and "polite", but they are mostly wishy-washy and naive.
Global AIDS coordinator? And we pay for this c**p??
Jenna Hager. That’s going to take some getting used to.
Democrat Senate Candidate Mark Warner made a particularly crass “joke” today, a Macaca-type comment that won’t hurt him because he is a democrat.
Speaking to the wheelchair-bound John Hager, whose son just married Jenna Bush, Warner said John must be a really good republican if he let his son marry into a family with such low approval ratings.
Thanks. IT took me a while to figure out the problem. But this really pisses me off.
I’m a pretty go-along-to-get-along guy when it comes to gays. What they do in their own bedrooms, well so long as I don’t have to be told about it, it’s their sin to bear.
But Mother-In-Law has a specific meaning, and this isn’t it.
as I said get ready, we're all in for some big changes down the pike.
She is hawking a book and Ellen has a large audience of women.
I never bother watching Ellen she is a freak. Once in an interview I saw her comment that she would never carry a child. She acted like it would be disgusting. I have’nt watched a thing she has produced since.
I think the Bushes know very much what they are doing, and they have a 28 percent approval rating.
True, but the Republican Party carried water for the Nixons from 1946-1974, and that’s their thanks?
Who ever said Jenna was a Republican?
Like other children of privilege, she’s gone off the rails into squishy liberalism.
It’s amazing how many people who want to defend W feel that admitting this reveals something about W. I think it really reveals something about Laura, but that strikes too close to home as well, it seems.
Remember Ellen got W to pick up the phone for Jenna while she was on Ellen’s show, live.
The loss of the fear of God will destroy this republic.
Abomination leads only to judgment and destruction.
Take it to the bank.
Wow you have BDS pretty bad, maybe time for some meds. Jenna was put on the spot when asked who she would vote for. It’s nobody’s damn business and especially not a reporters. The Ellen thing was in jest, like a joke you know, something humourous? Jenna’s book wasn’t condoning a lifestyle that would lead to HIV. Why don’t you go over to Daily Kos and spew your Bush hatred over there?
I agree. I’ve known many gays in my life, mostly through the antique business and my brother-in-law who was gay, and they were good people. And very kind to me, personally.
That’s classy...
Best friends? I don’t think so...
You must be like BFF (Best Friends Forever) with Jenna that you presume to know her innermost political thoughts./sarc It’s just amazing how much time people have on their hands to pontificate on Jenna’s political leanings and dissect her every word on a dumb TV show.
;o)
Yes indeed, that warm trickle you feel running down your leg when you stand next to Jenna must just be the spring rains...
Yours is a truely idiotic post. Get some help.
I don't have BDS. I have CDS--Conservative Disgust Syndrome. Digust with a Bush family that never tires of leaning center or left to please liberals.
Scripture puts it this way: "From such, turn away."
Have any of the children of leading Democrats spoke out for Republicans? Maybe one has, but I cannot recall.
Jenna is a child of privilege, and the Republican Party has been responsible for much of her privilege, going back four generations.
Seems like one of the FDR children endorsed Nixon, but was it 1960 or 1972?
If we're to follow Christ, then we are to live among and relate to the unsaved, not hole up and shut ourselves off from society. Live by example, and do not condemn those around us. Tell them what we believe, fine, but do not condemn.
Jesus did not condemn the woman at the well, but told her to go and sin no more. Compassion and kindness - that is how we should witness.
There’s a line between compassion for those trapped by sin and endorsement of the sin, and Jenna skated right on by it.
