Looks like I'm not getting Oakleys.

In some corners of the Black community, “stupid” means “cool.”
Kind of like “phat.”
I may be reaching as it pertains to this ad, but it’s possible.

Do a Wikipedia search for the phrase “Hyphy” and you’ll learn a new meaning of the word “Stupid”. :)

That is so sick. I mean - that is so bad. Or rad.

I think I’ll just stick with “groovy” or “far out”.

Or "Smokin'", "pissah" and "F'in A."

Boston terms from the '80s.

Maybe whoever designed these worked for CNN?

Odd. Kozik actually supported the War on Terror in an interview.

Guess he went for the easy sale to “edgey” yutes.

A future governed by Obama IS pretty stoopid.

Are you sure that’s Reagan? It actually looks more like Milton Berle to me.

I buy $8 cheapo’s.

By the time I sit on them, misplace them, scratch them, break them, etc, I just buy another pair.

“Odd. Kozik actually supported the War on Terror in an interview.”

It seems that bit of “art” is at least 25 years old. I seem to remember it from my skate/punk days.

I used to do that, too. I recieved a pair of RayBans as a gift two years ago and suddenly realized there was a good reason for the $200 price tag.

Sadly though, my RBs are broken and I can’t find anyone who welds plastic. It’s been very hard adjusting back to the cheap sunglasses...

I dont understand why anyone buys glasses like this anyways. I wear these.

These are Crews Klondike Safety Glasses with Grey Lenses. I order them from Crews in quantities of 6 for $17.10, or roughly 6 pairs for 1/5th the price of one pair of crappy Oakleys. And on top of that, they are safety glasses which is a nice bonus.

“They had skate punks 25 years ago?”

Oh yeah. It seems that Reagan art was the poster for some punk band from back in the day. Can’t for the life of me remember who it was.

Reagan was the poster/sleeve art for EERy punk band back in the day. He deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as an influential figure for that alone. And some punk musicians from back then even eventually came around politically (or just played the “hate Reagan” card to be accepted).

I’ll stick with my Government Issue “Revision” sun glasses. They’re rated to stop buck shot from a 12 gauge at 10 feet. However the parts of my face not covered by them would be in trouble...

I called, received a reference number, returned my sunglasses, registered a complaint, and told the lady I would be reccommending to my congressmen and Senators that any and all military contracts be ended, and that they take their business to another company. I’m sure it means nothing to them though.
