No, he played well. That’s the only way to win at Augusta. My point was that he left the door open for someone else simply by shooting over par. I was rootin’ hard for Snedeker. He just didn’t have the maturity to pull it off.

Augusta National also dictates the length of time the Masters will be aired. Be glad that you get to see all 18 from the leaders on Sunday. Up until a few years back, you didn't. Heck, it wasn't that many years ago that television viewers had no idea what the front nine even looked like.

Remember, this isn’t a PGA Tour event. Augusta National does what Augusta National wants. Sometimes it can be irksome. Other times, like when it showed the Masters commercial free for two years to take the heat off any sponsors over its refusal to admit female members, it’s pretty cool.
