Man do the FBI thing! By the way I won the Nigerian Lottery 5 times this month.
Second thought....I’ll post this to you in public.

“ONLINE EXTORTION
E-Mail Scam Includes Hit-Man Threat”

see my post at #34, Cindy.
I’ve heard of this scam. You’re the first person I’ve known to receive this type of letter, though. Be careful and God bless.
Maybe try calling google to inform them of that email address:
Google Inc.
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, CA 94043
Phone: +1 650-253-0000
Fax: +1 650-253-0001
You can try this
For Google, use this form
https://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=abuse_spo...
or email to
abuse@google·com and/or mail-abuse@google·com
But I doubt liberal google is going to take much action other than to cancel the account.
Could be a Government School graduate.
I read about this earlier this week. Total scam I guess you could report it to the authorities can’t hurt.

The FBI could maybe get Google to cooperate.
$15,000? Fifteen grand? Hell, I’ll not kill you for $10,000.
The price of wacking someone of your fame would obviously be more than that!!! It's BS.
But report it anyway.
Mad.

Send him a link to the GNAA Last Measure exploit.
Yup that’s the one. Sheesh. And I’ve already replied with my bank account and social security numbers. Suppose they’ll send them back if I as real nicely? Bwahahahahah!
If I was in the market for a hit man I would look for someone with a better grasp of the English language.
I just do not have confidence in the intelligence of people who can not communicate.
I know it is not my life being threatened but this just sounds like a crock to me. Some kind of a scam.
I recommend contacting the FBI. If this person can be found they need a little time in a Federal prison to straiten them out.
Wonder if we can tempt him to come out of the shadows by offering free copyediting.
