Old mail in my almost 10 years here has to be filling up a half dozen servers alone ........:o)

Needs to be an easier way to delete old mail vs checking every box, one at a time.

Think of how much faster FR will be if folks cleaned up their old mail boxes !!!

Click comments .. shows latest posts, but
looks like it’s for all categories, not just
New/Activism.

Latest Article are listed in chronilogical order.

Active Articles are listed in chroniclogical order of THE LAST POST TO THAT THREAD.

For instance, a story that was posted yesterday and is still being commented on gets ‘bumped to the top’ of the “Active Artcles” list.

To me, it makes a lot of sense.

Have you ever clicked on an interesting looking thread in the “Latest Comments” page, only to find out that the article is three weeks old? Example.... You click on “Top Staffers Resign From McCain Campain!!!” only to find out that the story was from last summer when his campaign was in the dumps.

Also, I remember when Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving and his anit-semetic slurs were top news.

Even though I check this site regularly for updates, I didn’t hear about it for some time because the story was buring somewhere in the forum. The new page would bump the story up to the top each time a comment was made.

Anyway, the new list should give us the best of both worlds.

While we are making suggestions, I would like to see a red “YOU HAVE POSTS” on the threads you are reading.

Currently we have to click on the “PINGS” button, guessing that we might have comments. Or we have to go to a refreshed News/Chat page to see it in the upper right hand corner.

You can use the PING window. Just click the speaker thingee in the upper right corner. You'll have a little mini-ping window pop up.
