Sorry about that....When I first clicked on your thread, I only saw a red X...
Don’t know why that happened...

Raining in the Sierras where I live, so I missed it! We have had clear skies until tonight naturally!

Where abouts in the Sierra? It’s clear here tonight on the Eastern slope.

It was stunningly beautiful in the Midwest. But, it was so freakin’ cold we ran in and out every 15 min or so to see it. Temp -7 degrees right now.

This is a picture of the eclipse posted on a goldenretriever forum that my wife likes to read and post on. This is what happens with a slow shutter speed taking pictures of an object orbiting the earth.

Forgot to add that the man in the moon looks happy to see somebody tonight.

Thanks for posting the pic... I was not up to going out and looking.
How long does it stay in an Eclipse? Or is it over by now.

It was a little warmer here and luckily no wind, but still had to run in and out.

You can do better than that. :)
(15 seconds, handheld, ISO 50, the camera purposely shaken, just to see what would happen. Taken a couple of years ago. The eclipse was a bust in Tennessee tonight, though at the moment the skies are somewhat clearing. Pfffft!).

It started about 8 or so eastern, was in full ecclipse by around 9:30. When I went to bed, after 11, it was almost over.
