Oh, shut up. Most Thompson supporters equally like Hunter, but Hunter never amounted to a few percentage points in poll impact at any given time.

We need a conservative in the White House. Thompson, between Hunter and Thompson, was the only one with a larger-scale pull from the public. A large part of that was name and face recognition. Hunter was just not known by anyone. People have seen Thompson on television for years, and most good conservatives saw The Hunt For Red October in prior years. Thompson was a rational, practical choice for conservatism.

I really liked Hunter and would prefer him, but he had no chance compared with the others the public might actually recognize.

Fred’s supporters on here didn’t constantly berate Hunter supporters saying “Oh he’s got no shot, he doesn’t have any money, he doesn’t have any name recognition.”

Well, our guy is out and your guy is still in. Are you happy now?

I intend to write Hunter in, and I’m sticking to that.

Hunter didn’t support, amnesty, a bad trade deal with China, or campaign finance reform. Your guy did

Seriously, Hunter’s a good man, a good politician & he & his family have served & will continue to serve this country well. Don’t freak out.

Don’t kick people while they’re down. It’s cruel.

Just say no to Huck and see how the cards play.

Why say no to Huck? Seriously? What the hell is the difference between him and any of the others? including Fraud Thompson? Everyone of them are portraying themselves as conservatives but their past records say otherwise. I will just say no to the whole damn bunch, thank you.

Hunter was my choice too. I’m sorry the many conservatives in this country couldn’t rally behind him.

It would have been a true showdown: Hunter vs. Hillary

I like to think, if that choice had been given, the majority of U.S. citizens would choose Hunter.

People who have been the most vicious attack dogs against Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney day in and day out.
They deserved a good kicking, no matter where they are.

If you’re going to write someone in, then why not write in Ronald Reagan at this point?
I’m sure he’ll get more votes than Duncan Hunter.

Hunter never had to lie about his record.

The only one lying about his record is Mike “I raised hope” Huckabee.

Hunter didn’t do well because “they” couldn’t trust him.

Just like Ron Paul.

“Because they did it” is never a good excuse. Rise above it.

You spent the last several months trashing Fred Thompson in particular

That isn't true, I might have but not everyone. I only made comments against Thompson because you all were so effective in trashing everyone else, including Duncan Hunter.

I will be happy, though, when the Fraud is sent packing. Right now I am sorta depressed.

Drinking Coffee Oh for God's sake get a hold of yourself.  Ninety nine percent of the country thus far have consistently voted against Duncan.  You simply awakened from your fantasy, the world didn't end.
