Character-wise, I admire and respect Mike Nolan. As a D-coordinator he’s been successful wherever he’s gone. But this is the NFL baby, and if Brian Billick can be fired one year removed from a 13-and-3 season how can a team justify keeping a coach who has gone 16 - 32 over three seasons and has basically failed to advance the state of the team at all?
The day Billick let Jim Fassel go came back to haunt him.
