Well, why not? Mr. Moderator, perhaps you could put together a poll, and the winner would get a nice Pajamas Media Honorary Badge.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: award
Putin as person of the year...good grief!

No "freeper of the year." Actually, I don't care, if folks want to, fine.
But for sure, we should have a thread mentioning the freepers who have passed away in 2007.

As actors award and fawn over other actors with the Academy Awards BS, the Commies at TIME award and fawn over other Commies like Putin.
Should be expected, but with Castro down to one paddle and a hole in the bottom of his canoe, I really thought he would be the coverboy.

Popcorn, indeed.
Most of the time I’m just to numb to respond to the seeming endless supply of the stupid things the MSM or politicians do. But this...Putin?!
Yes, dictatorships usually are very stable.

Actually I don’t think this thread intended FReepers to chose a fellow “FReeper Person Of The Year” but we should chose the REAL person of the year. Someone like General Petraeus or Bolton ... etc.

I would have to say Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. He has a great year with the book and speaker tour. He said some things and I did not like the guy much until I actually heard him speak. Yes a good conservative but did not like him as a person, but now I do.

Clarence Thomas is another good choice!

In 2004 it could have been the "Swift Boaters" or the brave troops holding up the "STUCK IИ IЯAK" sign.

Just search all 2007 threads and do a word count - whoever's name got typed the most, wins. ;)
I suspect the winner would be some guy named "Rudy McRomney". ;)

Not a thread but a Memorial Page noting their passing.

Good point. That “STUCK IN IRAK” sign was brilliant. They deserve praise for that.
