After two seasons in which Danny Green made only modest contributions, North Carolina Coach Roy Williams figured Green was capable of more. So he challenged Green and told him it was time for him to become a key figure for the Tar Heels.
I told him in the spring and every time I saw him this summer that he had a chance to be extra important to our team and that I hoped he was working hard to make that realistic, Williams said recently.
It appears that Green was listening.

I actually watched most of the Texas/Texas State game Saturday. Texas State played pretty well in the first half until UT came out in the 2nd half and took over.

Yeah, I watched it on FSN Southwest over at my brother’s place. He gets the DirecTV Sports Pack where you can get all of the FSN regional channels. It’s great when you’ve got some beer to drink and time to kill on winter Saturdays. :)
