Iowa Grain Elevator Collapse Traps Family in Home

DES MOINES, Iowa — A grain bin collapsed and sent a tidal wave of corn into a home, sweeping it off its foundation, trapping a family of four and shaking the ground for miles.

One man was taken to a hospital after being buried for hours in grain and debris in Hillsboro in southeast Iowa.

Too bad it wasn’t the Democrat candidates! We could get rid of all of them in one fell swoop!

Don’t live too close to a large corn bin or elevator, or anything with enough corn in it to crush you like a grape.

The bin — about 100 feet in diameter, 90 feet high and containing more than 500,000 bushels of corn

That's about 28,000,000 pounds of corn and $1,500,000.

Jesse and Jen is my ex-girlfrend’s best friend. I’ve been in their home a number of times. Last news is everyone is OK, Jesse is in good condition.
