Yes yes yes yes yes ... but then I repeat myself. Duke University was absolutely reprehensible in firing the coach even before all the evidence was in .... they would not wait until court .... I hope he sues the president of the college and all 81 of those professors >AND< Nafong for everything they have ..... they denied due process and did not wait for the courts to rule ....

85 percent
Mike’s biggest mistake was not having a father smart enough to be named Krzyzewski. If all things were the same, Duke would have NEVER dumped Krzyzewski.

All I heard was that the University (some official) had made some comments, or into a discussion about the case (or settlement) with someone obviously not supposed to be privy to that information and that is what got out...
There’s probably some more info on that out there somewhere...
All I know is that if you break the deal, all bets are off...
Maybe we can keep watching this thread and see the particulars of this deal...And how its going to be played out...

You mean “bogus” petition, right? I mean, it was a real petition, it was just BS.

Duke Klan88 is a disgrace but I found it is funny that they consider personal rants and letters as "scholarly work" and list them in their CV.
div
In reading this post, keep in mind: above all else, the Piot article gives a sense of what is considered a scholarly publication in his field.
The Piot Principles, as laid out in his article: 1. Ignore contemporaneous documents, if doing so will advance the metanarrative.
2. Dont mention conflicts of interest.
3. Even into spring 2007, at least one Duke professor continued to use class time for questionable non-academic activities.
4. In a scholarly publication, authors should avoid citations when making their most difficult-to-sustain points
Indeed, it is listed as a representative publication on Professor Piots CV.
Also, some Klan 88 profs list books in their CV that have been forthcoming in the last 14 years.

Spank ‘em. The bravo sierra from the school’s resident nitwit was not enough. Bury them in legal debt so far the Duke alums ask for the termination of P^3 leadership.

You bet; kick the liberal bastards in the groin and then go after the individual faculty members.

One hopes that through the litigation those professors and administrators who “convicted” these young men will have their asses dragged through the mud.
