The Oct 18 and 20 concert dates with Dixie Chicks/Eagles at Nokia Theatre LA Live were sold out in a few minutes.
I’d go see the Eagles, but not the Vichy Chicks.

So would I. But at least you wouldn’t have to worry about getting there early & fighting the crowd. Wonder how many empty seats there will be while people wait for the real show to start? :-)
I’ve seen the eagles a few times. Not sure if I could stomach Henley’s left wing garbage and the DC’s guaranteed rant at this time around.
Wow, that’s shocking. They should add a few solo shows without Eagles and see how the tickets sell.

They have been relegated to being the opening act for formerly big name bands still cashing in on their former fame.
I’ve made a point not to go see any left wing artist that makes it a point to insult the things I hold dear. I don’t hold their opinions against them as long as they don’t go out of their way to preach it to me while at the same time asking me to cough up money for their products. When I first started doing this there were times I really felt deprived but over the years it seems when a celebrity advance their propaganda I really don’t care to see or hear their material anymore.
Must be a good puppet show they are booked with.

Too funny. Went to the Mohegan Sun casino the other night (no available sunset cruises), and saw the lineup they had over the next month or so, seems that John Fogerty and Phil Lesh are big on the cicuit.
I’m with you on this one, and have been for some time.
This is the probably the most level headed reply I have seen. If you do not agree with someone or thier point of view, don't support them or spend money on furthering thier cause. It is a pure and simple point of view; it saddens me to see some of the topics and comments about these young ladies, they stated thier opinion (an opinion I dare say my fellow Americans that is held by some in places we think are 'pro' American like Europe). being cruel and malicous never accomplishes anything and I take it from reading some of these messages, that some posters here are 'claiming' to be God fearing Christians... Perhaps they have the right idea in fearing God as he would surely never approve of the way this has gotten out of hand regrading the Dixie Chicks. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Matthew 18: 21 - 35 and thier sin 12 words... and how many have not forgiven them as it is written?
I know its been a few weeks but I have to say your post is right on the money.
