I really feel for William Petit. Since he is a doctor, I'm guessing he's helped a lot of people in his career. I've read comments from people who said he was their doctor and they really liked him. Now he's lost his wife and family and the home and life they built together.

There is nothing of value the two scum who did this can ever do for society other than donate themselves for medical research. Otherwise, these two evil bastards should be killed. I don't see how even Jesus could forgive them. Some people just need killing...

Once upon a time Connecticut was a prosperous state with a reputation for public safety. Over the last 30 years the state has been allowed to go down the tubes through exactly the sort of lax law enforcement on display here. It will be interesting to see if this episode is enough to shock the Constitution State back to its senses.

Sounds like these halfway houses are becoming a breeding grounds for criminals. We need to shut them down and put the residents in prisons.
