Joe was a wonderful passer though and had a brilliant career.

Everybody laughed at me when I said Drew Brees would be the better NFL QB (the both came out the same year) and this is not the sort of vindication I was seeking. (Brees already proved me right the last two years.) I figured Vick was a classick "coach killer" - former Coach Jim Mora came to the same conclusion on TV last year. Two month later his son, Jim Mora Jr., coach of the falcons, was canned.

Having the power structure come down on you for fighting pitbulls will actually RAISE Vick’s standing among the gangsta-wannabes in the hood.
My prediction: you will see MORE black youths wearing Vick’s jersey in places like South Central, Detroit, D.C., etc. They’re not gonna be able to make ‘em fast enough. And he will be rhapsodized in many a rapper’s verse.
