Good morning to all.......overcast and looks like rain coming our way.

Chairman....I was traveling yesterday and the updates on the radio about the stock market always made it sound like a struggle...they announced that the market had started very low, stressing this over and over..and never told us that it had hit a record high...I checked as soon as I got home and was amazed that the Dow had hit another record. Why do they do this....and who does this...is it the producers and writers of these news spots that do this on purpose....I am buying some tinfoil today...lots of it.

I am expecting company from Colorado today, they travel in a large motor home, pulling a van.....they park in my backyard and I have close neighbors while they are here. It is a great way to have company.

In a few days our friends from Kansas will be here and they will bunk in with us.

Looks like my chicks are growing by the minute and eat all the time. Now, I have to start thinking of enlarging the ‘Oval Office’ (hen house), looks like we are going to add an addition onto it so they will have a place to stay other than on my front porch, it is a mess (litterly) with having to wash it off every day.

It is always a pleasure when the warm weather rolls around, my favorite time of the year. Garden growing pretty good, already have 8 squash picked, little ‘matoes’ coming on the plants, didn’t get my grits planted in time and am hoping they will give me a crop BUT! my pasta plants are growing like mad....
