Define ‘Thug’.
My thought, too. In England it may mean anyone who tries to defend themselves. Though it may mean anyone with one of those ASBOS. England is toast.
Yeah. I read the ‘offenses’ of these people. And it’s a joke.
100 days community service for ‘bumping into people’?
Man. England is TOUGH on ‘thugs’!
bumping into people?
Trouble is that in England that may mean headbutting them
In this particular case tho, it really was ‘bumping into people’.
“SON Leon is banned from the village and from harassing and threatening neighbors. Is doing 100 hours community service for bumping into customers chasing a man in Tesco, Whitehaven.”
“harassing and threatening neighbors”
My impression is that he is a repeat offender.
The problem with the article is that it seems more of a ‘he said, she said’ type of situation.
With some neighbors on one side, others on the other side.
It’s a bit to sketchy to draw too many conclusions.
IMO
IMO
Wish I could find the article where I first heard of the ASBOS thing. By the time you get one of these, it is obvious that the recipient is a thug. England has a revolveng door system for even violent offenders.
“England has a revolveng door system for even violent offenders.”
True. But stories like these are always a little to sketchy to draw any major conclusions.
It’s doesn’t outlay what the original complaint was. Either from a dispute with a neighbor or any past history, since the people involved have lived in that neighborhood all of their lives. If there were no previous problems, then something had to have changed.
More information would be helpful here.
