Paris Hilton is calling on her fans to help her stay out of jail - by endorsing an online petition they can sign. The desperate socialite, who was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail last week after violating terms of her 2006 drink-driving arrest, has teamed up with a pal called Joshua to urge fans to help her. In a post on her MySpace blog, Hilton, who is also asking California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her, writes, "My friend Joshua started this petition. Please help and sign it. I love you all!" The petition, which is addressed to Schwarzenegger, claims "the American public who support Paris are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that drunk driving is wrong. She provides hope for young people all over the US and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives. If the late former President Gerald Ford could find it in his heart to pardon the late former President Richard Nixon after his mistake(s), we undeniably support Paris Hilton being pardoned for her honest mistake as well." Hilton is due to start serving time by June 5 if her appeal fails, after being sentenced at a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.

Personally, I think that they should lock her up and lose the key.
Just when you think you’ve heard it all, her petition actually claims that, “She provides hope for young people all over the US and the world.”
If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would swear that whoever wrote that is secretly working for the prosecutor.
I’d sign one to lock her up and throw away the key.
What a world.
Good idea.
LOL I thought it said Hillary
I think the judge should tack on more time for contempt of court.
Then let her tell all the young people to stay out of jail and avoide those tasty bologna sandwiches, etc.
Too hot for jail
If only Hillary were to also go to jail...
I call on Congress to step in to save this young woman. Certainly they can find a way to involve themselves and have it held up by the courts through the commerce clause.
Life is a game of MONOPOLY to her-—”GET OUT OF JAIL CARD”
I’m surprized this thread hasn’t been moved to the General/Chat forum.
We need a petition to deport her back to France.
BOTH of Them?????????????
I don’t want to see or hear about this piece of cultural decadance whose entrance to fame was paved by a porn video.
Hitlery should have been in Federal Prison a long time ago.
LOL! My feelings exactly!
Petition or not, I bet she never spends even an hour in the graybar hotel.
Almost as astonishing as the petitioners I saw in front of Wal-Mart today demanding that the government force oil companies to lower the price of gas.
My standard is what would happen to ME. If I was caught driving on a suspended license they would have carted me to jail. I’d get bail and I would have to do the time so why is she special? She should get the justice everyone else gets.
I heard a woman in a convenience store remark that now that the Dems are in control, the price of gas should be going down.
Paris Hilton adds zero to the culture of America. She lives off her parents teet and is famous for being famous. Now she think’s she is too good to go to jail. Baloney. She will make a fortune on the movie rights to this little adventure.
“Her actual post mis-spelled the word “sign”,
Not only is reality stranger than fiction, it’s often funnier. No screenwriter would dare submit a story like this!
45 days without a martini! Wow, I’ll bet she’s terrified!
If that disgusting hitlery was president now, ms hilton would be pardoned to serve her time in the white house hot tub!!
“and is famous for being famous.”
The Zsa Zsa Gabor of the 21st. Century.
Just like all Liberals, they think the laws pertain to everyone but them.
A good friend of ours daughter has had THREE DUI violations in the last few years and has NEVER gone to jail. In the last DUI she had a single car wreck and nearly killed herself. At the time of the the accident her license had been suspended. Compared to this gal, Paris’s violations were minor. Every DUI took place in CA.
I would pay for a picture of her after 30 days in jail! What arrogance!
Oh, how I hope this is the topic of Ann Coulter’s next article.
I’m going to start a petition urging Big Bertha the Horny Lesbian Biker Bitch to make Ms. Hilton’s acquaintance in the slammer.
She just seems to make a bigger jerk of herself with each step she takes. I’d prefer her to have 1000 hours of duty at a Senior Citizens home. It might shake her with some sense of realty.
“45 days without a martini! Wow, Ill bet shes terrified!”
But I hear they make Merlot in the toilets in the slammer...

Thirty-one posts and no pics! We used to have rules! The post-purge forum has lost its bearing! Sure, she's a dolt. But she's still a durn pretty dolt! |
That’s hot!
Paris is going to find out that is Liberalism that creates the Ho’s she is going to meet.
I really think that an advocacy group for the terminally stupid is way overdue and now is the time to found one.
My dog would be lost in jail and no one in his right mind would order him there, how can we treat even more helpless creatures that way?
Well maybe your friend's daughter would have been better off spending some time in jail. She could have just as easily killed someone else's daughter or son rather than nearly killing herself.
OUR guys will "keep an eye on her".
What do you have against old people?
*chuckle-snort*
You should have mentioned that in January, at the time of The Takeover, gas was $1.89 in many places. It’s now what, back over $3 again??
Nothing stops you from going to the online "Free Paris" petition, and posting a message to EXTEND her stay at the Big House...
"I, like, killed 10 people. But, ya know, see all of these names that say I shouldn't go to jail for it? So you should pardon me, Guv!" < / Hilton >
What a dip. can't understand why anyone thinks shes attractive personally.
I wouldn’t bother. Liberals just don’t get it. Or at least admit it.
