Did Anyone Hear Bruce Bartlett on Laura Yesterday? A quick search here shows that I shouldn't be so surprised by what a limp linguini spine he sounds like. A recent post already discusses his recent column suggesting that, since the '08 prez race is already a totally lost cause, repubs should back Hillary (Yes, Hillary) for prez.
On yesterday's show, he defended this nonsense with the amazing statement that his support for Hillary is because she is the most conservative of the top tier demoncats running. Well Laura smashed this twerp to pieces with her questions and one particularly brilliant challenge: Bartlett was saying that polls back his theory-after all 9% of republican voters already back Hillary: (hint they all have the last name Hagel or come from New England). So Laura casually asks him "What percentage of democrat voters back Guiliani" reply: "uh-er 12%" Laura just chuckled at what a jerk Bartlett was. Great job by Laura, and time to find out who Bartlett is getting paid/bribed/threatened by.
If the ‘08 Election is a lost cause, I’m supporting Obama. Because at least then we’ll have a pretty good retort to the “Blacks Can’t Get Anywhere In America” rant.
I'd sooner back bin Laden, becuase he'd be less destructive to this nation.
Also, with Bin Laden, you know where he stands on the issues.
Bruce Bartlett has completely lost in the the last few years.
