lysie, ‘tad’, is not the descriptive word I would use. The FNC weather dude says this system is full of hail. Mr IG has gone outside to move vehicles in to the warehouse.
Molly, thanks for the updated ping list. I’ve saved it.
Well, I'm going to run to Wally Mart before church, and maybe the grocery too.
:-)
Check out post 1032, and please send a prayer to kat and her family.

Morning, Molly and everyone!
Chilly weather today with a gale/coastal flooding warning. I’m wearing winter clothes today....it’s a good fireplace and hot soup weather!
Molly, I see that you enjoyed the horse race on your tape. They said there would be an unveiling of the Queen’s new hat at the Derby. When I got home yesterday, I was able to catch a glimpse of her new hat. It’s very pretty. Looks like they got some sunshine there.
How was your day trip? Our little rugrat enjoyed all his birthday presents. I got him a Ralph Lauren outfit.....yeah, shame on me for spoiling the kid. :)
Be back later.
I saw that. Sad.

I have to presume that every one has seen that kattracks has slipped into a coma. Sigh.

That IBD posting of the true state of the economy is exceptionally well written.
I wish we didn’t have to “excerpt” so much stuff here now ... I am sure that many people never bother to read the full articles, because I see junk on so many discussions that is refuted or explained in the article.
Anyway, thanks yet again for the good articles pings.
OH YUM, what can I have this AM, is Sunday a free day? I love hotcakes with bacon and eggs. Thanks lysie, that’s what I’ll have and coffee.
We will be in for more rain in the coming days, 30 and 40 percent chance, so east and north of us will be getting it after it passes us. The rain isn’t so bad, it’s the warm humidity that follows. YUK, but then it is good for the plants. There’s always a silver lining.
It will be good to have your daughter back home. She’ll have some wonderful stories to share.
Too many, too close, too soon.
Woke this morning to find a houseful.
Made breakfast for everyone. Son and his g/f/ are out doing their thing. D and her b/f are going to take the pixies to a flea market. My brother will be doing some fixing things. My mom is being mom.
I have laundry and ironing to catch up on.
I think that's just super! Young people need direction and wisdom in their lives. Please keep us updated on how it goes, toby.
I’m shutting down my computer. There is really bad lightening moving in on us from the West. It’s the same storm system that hit KS & NE last night.
I’ve been watching it all morning, and can’t believe how SLOW it is moving.
I’ll check back in after the storm. IF I have power.
I forced myself to get the laundry done early this morning. Oh, I whined to myself...don't wanna!! One more load and it should be done.
Good morning, prairie.
I’m so sorry to read about kattracks. I left a message and prayer on the thread.
Sorry to hear the storms heading your way. The fields that we drove past yesterday in southern MO and up into IL, are muddy-muddy-muddy. Some with standing water.
Some of the fields haven’t even been worked, many not planted. Some appeared to have just been planted but then received a gully-washer which caused the furrows to fill in and might cause soil crusting.
Some people we talk with say May 5, others say May 15, but most settle on May 10 as the deadline for planting before significant yield loss potential occurs.
I have to wonder, if we had several wet years in a row.....would America chose to feed the livestock or feed theirs cars? I think I probably can guess the answer, let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
Good morning lysie, and everybody! It’s good to be back online after driving yesterday. I was too tired to set up the computer last night.
We’re going to see our daughter today. YAAAAAAAY!! Just waiting for her to call, which knowing her will be after noon, heh!
We are so looking forward to her safe return.
Stay safe!
Those poor people in Kansas. My goodness they certainly have had more than their share of tornadoes.
Prayers for their safety!
We have been inundated with rain, worried about our lawn getting to much rain.
