I did see that there was snow at the higher elevations.

Our air is so full of moisture it feels like a cool sauna.

My humming birds are really hungry. I filled two of their feeders, one had quite a few ants in and outside the feeder, they have been eliminated. The larger feeder has been used to, but I’ll wait until it is gone. The one feeder in the middle has not or has hardly been touched. (?) I wonder why.

till, sounds like you have lots of hummingbirds. I love to watch them feed.

Two Thirds...I love camping in CO too..such beautiful country.

Has everyone picked their horse for the Kentucky Derby? My daughter was going to Hoosier Downs to watch the race, I had her put $2.00 on Cowtown Cat to win for me.

The sun was shining here not too long ago, so hopefully the weather will be good for the race.

Hey there, t.a.c. Very interesting that the middle feeder was virtually untouched. Are they afraid of a predator closer to there than at the other locations?

I can’t imagine there are predators near it, because it is only about a foot from the other 2 feeders. I’m wondering if I didn’t get rid of all the store smell (taste) when I cleaned it. The feeder is hanging under the balcony and we sit on the patio for martini time and of course the balcony covers the patio, so we’d see a predator. Creatures are strange sometimes, even us 2 legged ones.

Good Morning Sweetie.

Thanks for the Cyber Carbs. It’s the only kind I’m allowed.

Good Morning!

Must have been a busy day yesterday as there seemed to be little interaction on the thread. (Myself included!)

After Mass today it's outside again as there's still much yardwork that needs attending.

Eldest daughter is down to her last 2 weeks of school in France. We will be so delighted to get her back safe and sound. Looks like it could be a conservative government once again in France!

My daughter has been watching this develop while she has been over there.

Good Morning. I know you will be thrilled to have your daughter back at home, under your roof.

Have you been getting the rains we’ve been getting? There’s more predicted for today.

Good morning!

IG, sorry to hear about the continued bad weather and its impact on the planting. We drove thru some heavy showers yesterday, but they were not long-lasting and they were needed in c. Ohio...and here, too.

got home to enjoy the tape I'd made of the Derby.

Good Morning!

We've had some, but not enough. We're still dry in moisture content.

Good morning all.

Boy, can I pick a horse or what....my horse came in last at the Derby yesterday!! I picked Cowtown Cat because he was so jumpy before the race...good energy, I thought. LOL.

Be back later. I need to water the flower beds, garden and planters. We didn’t get any rain last night.
