Ouch! Looks like Augusta National is getting the last laugh so far. May only be worse as the weather chills and the wind picks up the next 2 days.

Justin Rose, you’ve got to be kidding me! He goes 5/18 GIR, and 20 putts. It’s early, but that’s just the kind of short game that will get him his first green jacket. En Fuego!

Yes we are. Historically, weird things always happen at Augusta on days one and two. Pairing on day three are important and the head games begin...

I can’t believe Justin only needed 20 putts. That’s amazing! Great playing. Phil had to have that 36 on the back to stay in it. Get used to these scores. I don’t think anyone sees -10. Figure the colder and windier conditions make the course even harder than today. Cut probably falls around +6.

Course is playing very tough. Cold weather and winds will determine the play today and especially tomorrow.

I love the Masters!

Umm, what the he** is going on with Allenby? I’m cubicle bound so only looking at the leaderboard on line a few times. Did he forget how to play golf?

By the looks of it, it looks like a lot of the guys forgot how to play today. I can’t wait to see what today’s avg. went sky high. Paddy’s 68 was the best today. CAN NOT WAIT TILL TOMORROW!

God I love the Masters! No -18 winning score this year. I’ll be shocked if anyone gets to -5! Did the cut fall at +8? Anyone at +5 or lower can win(TW and Lefty). Only 7 at par or better!

Yep, the cut line was +8, Couples made it, so did Crenshaw, Sandy Lyle and FUZZY~!

Today will be incredible!

I’ll see if I can get a decent cut and paste of the leaderboard...

was 154 in 1982...Ernie Els’ PGA-leading streak of 46 cuts made was
snapped...60 players advanced to the weekend, four short of the record set in
1966...In each of his four Masters wins, Tiger Woods was under par heading
into the third round...Last year, Phil Mickelson closed with a 69 at Augusta
— his first score below 70 all week — to win his second Masters title in
three years.

And so the carnage continues. I won’t even guess who survives. It’s wide open. And it will be FUN to watch.

Final round tee times are out. Play begins at 9:35(frost permitting) with ‘95 champ Ben Crenshaw. Tiger and Appleby go off at 2:15. Don’t count Lefty, Goosen, Paddy or Donald out. This is gonna be fun!
