Anyone else watching the Simpson's right now? I can't count the number of anti-Army, anti-war in Iraq comments they've made. Absolutely disgusting.
It's bizarro world now, post-election.
Are they still on? I think they are at the bottom of the ratings. Anyway nobody is probably watching in Chicago or New York(football game).
Haven't seen it for awhile - "The Simpsons" has blown for at least the last 5 years.
The voice of Homer, Dan Castel......something or other, is a well known Bush hater.
Can we please find something NOT to complain about?
Please. Switch off the power and step away from the tube.
I haven't seen the Simpson's in quite a while, so I don't know if this is something new or not. The ungrateful b---ards who write this garbage don't deserve the protections and freedoms afforded by our military!
I stopped watching the Simpsons a few years ago...they don't have any fuel anymore other than potty humour and "political" humour sans any nuance. They used to poke fun at everyone, but they shifted to being unabashedly leftist.
How about you change the channel or read a book?
Complaining about my complaining. Interesting twist.
If you don't like my post, don't read it.
Nah, their ratings should be somewhat decent tonight. They're promoting an exclusive trailer for the Simpsons movie to air during the broadcast.
Sadly, the show has done just that. And I say that as a huge Simpsons fan.
I caught that, but am hoping they redeam themselves.
It may be that it is sarcasm. I'm hoping.
I have just turned it off. I can't help getting my blood pressure up sometimes. That's why I watch CNN and listen to the Democrat's nonsense once in a while.
I am sensible enough not to be swayed by this garbage, but the message they are sending to their youth filled audience (perhaps some of you are correct in saying they don't have one anymore) with anti-Army propaganda.
I wasn't complaining at all. Technically I was chastising you.
I saw it, and it mocked everything about the US army, and even the Second Amendment.
I was hoping I was missing the sarcasm, ala South Park, but I'm afraid there is nothing remotely funny about what they are saying.
While the may dislike the Army, they love the Navy.
YVAN EHT NIOJ...YVAN EHT NIOJ...YVAN EHT NIOJ...
When comedy shows try to send a political message they cease being funny, which is exactly what has happened to the Simpsons. They now value getting across an anti-Bush agenda over getting laughs. It's too bad because it used to be a great show.
