Things are quiet and peaceful in small-town Jericho, Kansas, but when a baffling explosion occurs in the distance, Jericho's residents are plunged into social, psychological and physical chaos. No one knows what to think, and fear of the unknown takes over the town, especially because its isolation cuts it off from outside help. When nearly everything they know seems gone, will the residents of JERICHO band together to face their unfamiliar and mysterious new world?

I suspect reality will be somewhere between Pournelle's "Lucifer's Hammer" and "The Postman." NO WAY Hollywood would let stuff like that out this close to an election without the RATs screaming holy heck.

Gerald McRaney is in it, so I don't think it'll be typical left wing Hollywood view of fly-over country.

So far, it is worth your while. Wow, at about 37 minutes in ... there's a surprise! Watch for the reaction after the group plays the tape. Lots of plot twists.

Most TV production today is shot in British Columbia, just outside of Vancouver.

It's like a "LOST" program too...
I don't know if I can watch another night of CBS ??? Their lineup last night was pretty good.
NCIS, The Unit and then "SMITH"... I'm NOT happy about enjoying their entertainment shows, just on general I hate THEM principles...

Is there any part of the United States that is prepared for the realities of nuclear warfare?
As Katrina proved, prepared individual Americans are in the best position to ensure their own survival.
Reliance on any level of government to save us is not an option.

I really liked it!
Like a realistic "what if" scenerio.
I also like the fact that its mainly in small town usa. I think (or hope) that it will showcase the inginuity and rugged individualism of the average american , especially middle americans.
I think that this could be an opportunity to really who any muslims out there watching just how easily america could get their shit back together even in the event of a huge attack.
To: annelizly

Stupid songs popping up at the wrong moments It's another form of product placement all too prevalent these days - giving exposure to third rate musical artists.
To: annelizly; BallyBill
It sucked big time pondwater. Gerald McRaney should be sufficiently embarrassed to be appearing in this. If this show is successful it will prove that H. L. Mencken was right - and then some.
