I don't have the link, but John Karr walked out of the Sonoma County Jail yesterday a free man. No charges against him for anything, no registering as a sex offender, nothing.
Mary Lacy should be ashamed. At least in Thailand they could have watched him.

San Francisco police say they stopped a limo carrying John Karr after the one-time JonBenet Ramsey suspect was spotted wandering near a school and peering in a window!
The AP reported this weekend: Police say the received a call from the Convent of the Sacred Heart school, where Karr worked briefly as a teacher's aide in 2000. School employees told police the limo carrying Karr and two producers for ABC's "Good Morning America," stopped near the school. Karr got out, strolled the sidewalk and approached the school's door.
Police say no laws were broken, but they did take the names of Karr and the producers.Karr was released from jail Thursday after Sonoma County authorities lost critical evidence in a five-year-old child pornography case against him and it was dismissed.
UPATE: ABC canceled a planned interview with Karr on Friday after he jumped out of the car at the school. "Our producers were quite disturbed by his behavior. No sweeps special. No interview."

John Karr will be interviewed on Larry King tonight at 9pm.
I just watched the interview. At first, I thought perhaps merely he was trying to get out of Bangkok alive at any risk. Later in the interview, Larry actually performed an old interviewing trick. Larry began talking about sex-change etc. Karr presented himself as though any such topic would be within the rights of an individual to pursue if they chose to exercise them, but he considered the entire topic too personal and not pertinent to the case. Larry began to agree with him that there was nothing wrong with getting a sex change and indeed it was a private matter, then began dicussing details of the sex-change industry in and around bangkok, to which Karr was obviously very well versed and volunteered information.
Now this is what convinces me this guy is guilty of something pretty heinous. It turns out his behavior in denying any involvement with sex change or psychological problems was the exact same behavior exhibited when discussing and/or talking around his sex related charges. My wife mentions to look at the guy because he actually already has boobs. I really didn't think so until I began to notice from her observation, and damnedest thing, I think she is correct.
He constantly was framing the situation as one of a person who was 'proven' not guilty, rather than not found to be guilty and then focused on the challenges of a public which implied his guilt was unfair.
Greta Van Susteron I believe is going to have a Dr. on tommorrow with a taped interview of Karr with world renowned experts in the field of pedophilia to analyze his behavior. In a nutshell, they make no qualms insisting the guy is a classic pedophile.
This whole affair points to something very manifest in our judicial system and culture. Other countries will have no qualms in executing a sexual pervert. In our country we have perverts in government and this incrdible misperception that until a court of law finds one guilty, that one actually is innocent of crime they may have committed. Not merely innocent in the eyes of the law, but actually innocent in a relative truth fashion. This attitude takes on some incredibly sick behavior. I suspect we probably only see the tip of the iceburg of how corrupt our culture has truly become. it wouldn't surprise me if sometime in the next 20 years our society turns full circle of giving the accused the benefit if the doubt and become fairly ruthless in how we handle criminal behavior.
IMHO, this guy is an incredibly sick puppy and probably needs to be removed from society, possibly by death penalty, after a court rigorously investigates the matter. If guilty, he is a sly liar who has been living a very perverted lifestyle for many years.
BTW, they mentioned when he was a kid, his mother thought he was demon possessed and she attempted to set a fire around his bed to kill the demon. He later wanted to become a music starr under the pseudoname of 'DAMON'. If a person is actually demon possessed, I wonder how our courts and press would describe that person. (Multiple Choice below:)

I noticed that when walking out of the Petaluma County Courthouse, that he has small boobs for such a small frame.

This is NOT true. This was put out there by a 'friend' of the father and his father is not guiltfree of being a nut himself. He was/is a ruthless, cruel and abusive man who not only battered his wife (John's mother) physically, but extremely emotionally as well. And wouldn't think twice of tarnishing her, past and at the time present. Even to his children. But the set on fire deal is absolutely untrue.
